Why We Must Love Knowledge [101 Uncommon Benefits of Reading] – 2
Introduction
The lion is not the strongest
and most intelligent animal in the wild forest, yet “he” is the king of the
jungle. In terms of height, length and width, several animals are larger,
taller, and longer than the lion, yet the lion is the king of the jungle.
The lion is not the
swiftest in the jungle, yet “he” is the king of the jungle. Do you want to know
why the lion is the jungle king despite his limitations? It’s because of his
mindset. The lion’s mindset makes him king over the animals in the jungle.
The lion sees himself as
the strongest, yet is not the strongest in the jungle. The lion sees himself as
the smartest, yet “he” is not the smartest in the wilderness. The lion sees
himself as wise, yet he is not the most intelligent in the jungle.
The lion sees himself as
the fastest, yet he is not the fastest animal in the jungle. The lion's mindset
has made him king of the jungle. You can do anything with a strong positive
(optimistic) mindset.
Your mind is an
intangible asset. How you perceive yourself will determine the response people
give you. Like the lion because he sees himself as the king of the jungle. Other
animals in the wilderness see themselves as prey and visualize lions as the
king (predator) because that is how the lion has programmed “himself.”
You might be limited physically
in resources, talents, and connections. However, you can be unlimited in resources,
potential, and gifts in your mindset. You need superior knowledge to build this
mindset!
You need books to sharpen
your mindset! Without books, you will have a weak mindset. Like wild animals
(elephants, tigers, hippopotamus), they are stronger than lions. Yet, their
weak mindset has allowed the lion to dominate them.
It is the books you read
that enlighten your mindset. The books you read position your mind to become
resourceful and assertive. Read books to empower your mind. You will become a
lion among the elephants, tigers, hippopotamus and other wild animals.
Learning from the ant
Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:

The Holy Bible commands
us to learn from the ant because they are wise and resourceful. You cannot
imitate the wisdom of ants without studying them. You must read about them and
watch their videos.
Reading is necessary if
the Holy Bible commands us to learn from the ant. God knows that human beings
have limitations. Without adequate knowledge, we will perish. If God commands
us to study the life and wisdom of ants, what prevents us from reading? Read if

The tragedy of ignorance and the uncommon power of knowledge
In the book of Hosea, God
made a profound statement.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast
rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to
me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy
children.
Hosea
4:6 KJV
We can see from the Holy
Scriptures that the lack of knowledge leads to destruction. These are the words
of God. Failure to acquire knowledge will darken your path. Ignorance can make
God reject you.
When you reject spiritual
knowledge, you cease to become a representative of God. God will forsake your
lineage because you hated knowledge. Miseries will welcome you because of your
hatred of knowledge.
These are the words of
God (meditate on Hosea 4:6). Monitor people who hate knowledge. They become
prey to demons and wicked people. God did not say you will perish without food,
water, money, house, land, friends, children, husband, wife, and cars.
Although these things are
essential, you can become successful without them. God said you would perish if
you lack knowledge (see Hosea 4:6). Knowledge is the master key to unlocking
your ministry, business, cars, mansions, family, and temporal assets.
It takes wisdom to make
money and buy land, cars, food and water. It is so pathetic that people chase
temporal things and ignore knowledge. You need spiritual and resourceful
knowledge to become successful because knowledge is the foundation.
Like a house, you cannot
build it without a solid foundation. Building your house on sand is a disaster.
Your foundation determines the length, height, and width of the building. In
the same way, knowledge is your life's foundation.
Reading is the pathway to
knowledge. You don’t acquire knowledge because your parents, friends, and
family are knowledgeable. You acquire knowledge by reading! You need books! You
need advanced wisdom to progress.
You need practical knowledge
to break the failure and curses. You need uncommon knowledge to deal with specific
enemies. You need resourceful knowledge to brighten your vision. You need
divine wisdom to advance in life! You need spiritual knowledge to walk with the Holy Spirit

You need spiritual knowledge
to work with the
Trinity. You need adequate knowledge to become the person God made you become.
You need power and knowledge to discover and pursue your purpose.
As stated in the Holy
Scriptures, failure to acquire knowledge leads to destruction (see Hosea 4:6). If
you don’t want to perish, read and read. After reading, practice the acquired
knowledge and teach others. I love reading because it helps me in many ways. Become
a voracious reader. You will not regret it!
Knowledge is the pathway to deliverance
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in
my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:31-32 KJV
Christ Jesus knew the
power of the Word, so he commanded people to follow the Word
(the Holy Bible). Christ Jesus stated that the Word could bring
deliverance. Knowing the truth makes you free.
For example, living in sexual
purity (knowledge) exempt unwanted pregnancies, which often leads to
the sin
of abortion. Living in sexual purity (wisdom) exempts you from deadly
sexually transmitted diseases such as Human Immune Virus (HIV), Acquired Immune
Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), chlamydia, syphilis, gonorrhoea, human papillomavirus
and several infections.
Knowing the truth comes from
reading books. I mean reading spiritual and resourceful books. Check
out my previous article for more profound revelations. You don’t have
to embark on long fasting and prayers to solve the problem of sexually
transmitted diseases.
You must apply the wisdom
enshrined in the Holy Bible. You must apply the knowledge of abstinence
and sexual
purity to escape the trap of the deadly disease. Remember, I did not
enumerate the spiritual dangers of sexual immorality.
If you know the danger of
something, you will think twice. I believe in fasting and prayers. However,
some problems demand knowledge. This is one reason God has given us the mind.
If you are hungry, you don’t fast and pray to quench the hunger. You apply
wisdom.
You either buy or cook
the food. After acquiring the food, you must consume it. That’s the best way to
eliminate hunger. You applied wisdom. You did not fast and pray. You used your
mind to eliminate the hunger problem.
In the same way, you need
knowledge to solve marriage, finance, and social issues. If the problem is
spiritual, you need spiritual knowledge. It could be fasting and prayers.
However, every situation has a cause. You need spiritual and resourceful knowledge
to solve the problem. This is one reason Apostle Peter wrote to the church to
desire the Word of God.
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow
thereby:

If you are going to grow
in the Spirit, you need spiritual milk. You must read the Word of God (the Holy
Bible). Reading the Word of God develops your spirit and renews your soul
(meditate on Hebrews 4:12, Romans 12:2 and 1 Peter 2:2).
Failure to read the Word
of God will lead to spiritual kwashiorkor. The Word of God contains spiritual
nutrients. Feeding on the Word of God supplies spiritual carbohydrates,
vitamins, proteins, and calcium to your spirit and soul.
If fruits, vegetables,
meat, cereals, rice, bread, beans, and water, can supply nutrients to the body,
why do you starve the spirit and soul of spiritual food (the Holy Bible)? It is
time to grow your spirit and soul with the Word because the spirit and soul
need spiritual nourishment.
It’s time to feed your
spirit and soul with the Word because it contains spiritual nutrients. It is
time to engage the Holy Bible and resourceful books. Devouring books will
upgrade your spirit and soul.
When your spirit and soul
receive nourishment, they will empower the body to work effectively. When you
build your mind with the Word, you will become sensitive to the Holy Spirit. Start
reading if you want to become strong and fruitful.
Battle of the Mind and the Effects of Books
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty
through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself
against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the
obedience of Christ;

Wars are in three categories.
We have physical battles, spiritual battles and soulish battles. Freely

win physical battles without first winning spiritual and soulish battles.
This is why you need
greater knowledge to win invisible wars. In one of Pauline’s letters, he
described spiritual warfare (see 2 Corinthians 10:3-5). Apostle Paul stated
that we must pull down strongholds.
He stated that we must
cast down invisible strongholds blocking our deliverance. These strongholds
challenge the wisdom of God. It limits our progress and allows the devil to
dominate our thoughts.
For example, some people
claim homosexuality, lesbianism, and bestiality are “human rights.” These are
strongholds the devil implants into people to lead them astray. Until we break
this stronghold with the Word of God, we cannot progress.
How can you break these
strongholds if you don’t love reading spiritual and resourceful books? Some
people have become slaves to evil spirits because of ignorance. Ignorance has
opened the portal for evil strongholds to capture their soul and body.
Some people are living in
abject poverty because of a stronghold. Their culture, mindset, beliefs,
ideologies and philosophy have become their enemy (stronghold). Such vessels
cannot receive freedom until they break these strongholds with spiritual and
resourceful knowledge.
This is one reason Apostle
Paul commands us to break and cast down every imagination (stronghold) that
makes us weak, unproductive, and sinful with the Word. Freely download and read

Without adequate
knowledge, we cannot break demonic and deceptive strongholds. You need superior
knowledge (the Holy Bible) to dominate the devil’s lies and the world’s
deception. You must fill your mind with spiritual and resourceful knowledge.
When you fill your mind
with spiritual and resourceful knowledge, they will eliminate the strongholds
hindering your progress. Feeding your soul with spiritual knowledge leads to
deliverance.
When you turn on your
light in the evening, your room becomes bright. The light in your space lets
you see the things inside your room. If there is an unwanted thing in your
room, you can eliminate it because you have light.
In the same way, you need
knowledge (light) to eliminate every unwanted thing in your life. You need
unbreakable and unstoppable knowledge to break demonic and unfavorable
strongholds (dark cultures, ideologies, beliefs, and satanic human rights)
hindering your progress.
You can be strong
physically. However, you will be limited if you are weak mentally and
spiritually. It would be best to have mental and spiritual strength to do
exploits. Mental and spiritual strength comes from reading, fasting, and praying.
You will not be
intimidated by a macho man (a man with huge body muscles) if you are strong
mentally. Develop a habit of reading. Your mental muscles will be strong. When
your mental muscles become strong, the ungodly strongholds and abusive people in
your family, school, and environment will not dominate you.
Your mental and spiritual
strength will lead you to a successful path despite your family, school,
church, and workplace limitations. You can have the most beautiful car in the
world. However, the car will break down if it has a weak engine.
You need a strong engine
to drive the car. In the same way, the engine is your mind. You can travel far
if you have a strong mind (engine). The more you read, the strong your engine
(mindset).
Fall in love with spiritual
and resourceful books. Nothing in this world can stop you if your mind has the required
information and is ready to do it. I will throw more light in the next article

Commanded to be a lover of books
Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
1 Timothy 4:13 KJV
Apostle Paul was an avid
reader (see Acts 26:24, 2 Timothy 4:13). One reason for his wondrous works was that
he studied. Aside from Paul receiving the call of God, he did not joke with
books. Paul wrote to Timothy, one of his ministerial assistants, to read.
Paul knew that reading would
enhance the call of Timothy, so he reminded him not to ignore books in ministry.
Do not joke with books if you want to become a resourceful gospel minister,
leader, Chief Executive Officer, and manager.
Books broaden your
understanding. Books help you deal with people. Books expand your creativity
and intelligence. Through books, you can manage the organization and lead
people. The more you read, the greater your revelations.
Reading enhances your relationship with the Holy Spirit. Reading expands your mind to do more outstanding works for God. Your ministry will become valuable and attractive when you read, teach and apply the acquired knowledge. When you read, apply the information and share deep, resourceful knowledge, you will attract knowledgeable and resourceful people to your ministry and organization.
- Have you ever considered how and why Apostle Paul trained numerous gospel ministers?
- Have you ever thought about how and why Apostle Paul wrote numerous books?
- Have you ever thought about how and why Apostle Paul built many churches?
- Have you thought about how and why Apostle Paul did more wondrous works than other Apostles?
Apostle Paul was a lover
of books! (Meditate on Acts 26:24, 2 Timothy 4:13). If you want to do the
same or even better works than Apostle Paul and great leaders, become a
voracious reader!
Books are better than gold and silver!
Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than
choice gold.
For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be
desired are not to be compared to it.
Proverbs 8:10-11 KJV
Silver, gold, rubies,
money, and assets can do many things. However, they have limitations. Solomon,
one of the wisest and wealthiest men that lived, writes that we must receive
instruction (knowledge), not silver.
Solomon further states
that we must choose knowledge above gold. He explains that wisdom is better
than rubies. Nothing can be compared to knowledge! Silver, gold, money, rubies
and any treasurable asset cannot be compared to knowledge.
Do you want to know why?
You can lose gold, silver, diamonds, money, rubies, and precious assets if you
lack wisdom (knowledge). However, with wisdom (knowledge), you can get gold,
silver, money, and any treasurable asset.
You can make, manage, and
multiply gold, diamond, silver, rubies, money and any precious asset if you
have wisdom (knowledge). Haven’t you read and seen billionaires and
millionaires who became bankrupt and committed suicide?
You can make, manage, and
multiply resources if you have wisdom. This is one reason you must read books.
If you want to maintain and multiply your resources, acquire knowledge. If you
want to diversify or expand your business, you need knowledge.
You need knowledge from
the Holy Spirit to help you expand the church. If you want to become important,
acquire knowledge and practice them because it takes wisdom to make the right
decisions.
If one of the wisest and
wealthiest men that walked and lived on earth is telling you to choose
knowledge above resources, why do you hate knowledge? Read if you don’t want to
lose your resources. Read books if you don’t want to end badly. Freely download

The unwavering power of knowledge and ignorance
An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but
through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
Proverbs 11:9 KJV
One annoying thing about
ignorant and sinful people is that they destroy. As we all know, empty barrels
make the most noise. However, knowledge brings deliverance to the righteous. If
you are going to be delivered, you need knowledge.
You have chased “religious
leaders,” traveled to several territories, and visited the best health practitioners.
However, your problems remain. You need superior knowledge. You need spiritual
knowledge to build the seed of righteousness.
Without adequate spiritual
and resourceful knowledge, demons will continue to oppress, depress, suppress, impress,
and possess you. The absence of knowledge opens the portal for darkness to
dominate your environment.
Prioritize knowledge. I
mean, read books. You will not become the enemy’s weapon. I pity people who destroy
because they don’t know what they are doing. If they knew the consequences of
their evil deed, they would not do it in the first place.
Like a man holding
bitterness and unforgiveness in his heart, such a man destroys himself. He
might think his bitterness, anger, and wickedness will destroy his neighbor. A
time comes the bitter man will begin to suffer demonic oppression, incurable
diseases, depression, sorrow and suicidal thoughts.
However, a knowledgeable
(wise) man will eliminate bitterness, anger, and unforgiveness in his heart because
he knows the spiritual and health dangers. Desire knowledge, and you will not
become a prisoner.
Read books if you don’t want
to remain in the enemy’s prison. This is the introduction section. More
