Introduction
Imagine a world without the
internet, electricity, cars, trains, airplanes, and electronic devices. People
in the first century did not have these products and services because they were
ignorant of these devices.
Who thought we could
travel by airplane, car, and train to distant places within minutes? People
used to walk in the olden days because that was the only means of transport.
The wealthy in the first century could travel with donkeys, horses, and boats
because that was the fastest travelling device.
Today, you can sit in the
comfort of your home and talk to your family, friends, and workers in any
country. You can even chat with your loved ones and watch their activities in
different territories.
Technology has made
things easier and faster because some people apply knowledge. What would have
happened if people did not research, study, or apply their knowledge? God can
give supernatural wisdom.
However, you can also
upgrade your knowledge by learning from others. Things have become more
accessible today compared to the seventeenth century. People are coming out
with artificial intelligence machines.
These machines can act
like “human beings.” Have you ever asked yourself why things are moving faster
in this century? The answer is wisdom (knowledge)! Knowledge will increase in
the last days because the Holy Bible decreed it. You will be left behind if you
don’t acquire knowledge. Knowledge is the trend of this generation. Study if
you don’t want to be left behind. Read books if you don’t want to be left
behind.
The mind is like a garden (bush)
The human mind is like a
farm (garden). It is the seed you plant in the garden that determines the
fruits. If you plant resourceful seeds, you will reap resourceful fruits.
Failure to plant seeds will pave the way for weeds to grow in the garden.
Weeds attract harmful
animals such as snakes, scorpions, and mosquitoes. In the same way, an empty
mind welcomes harmful and deceptive ideas. Some ideas can corrupt your good
manners. If you don’t fill your garden (mind) with seeds (resourceful
contents), weeds (fallacies, ungodly beliefs, and deceptive philosophies) will
occupy them.
Analyze communities that
hate books (knowledge). You will realize that anyone can deceive them with
their deceptive ideas. It takes an educated mind to analyze information. If you
want good fruits, plant them in your garden (your mind).
If you want to become
valuable, read resourceful books. That’s the best way to protect your garden
from becoming a bush. As we all know, wild animals hide in bushes. Plant good
seeds if you don’t want reptiles, wolves, snakes, frogs, crocodiles, and
harmful animals to hide in your vineyard. Read resourceful books to eliminate
the wild animals hovering in your garden (bush).
The mind is an intangible asset.
God created the tangible materials
of this world with the intangible things. You were created in the image and
likeness of God. Therefore, you can also create things from the supernatural
world.
Your invisible resource
is your mind. When you fill your mind with the Word of God (promises of God),
the creative powers in the Word (Holy Bible) will produce results. You have
what it takes to become successful because you have an intangible asset.
You have to fill your
mind with resourceful knowledge. Don’t allow your physical circumstances to
determine your destiny because you have intangible resources (the Word and your
mind). You don’t have to bother traveling to different countries to acquire
knowledge.
You can sit in the
comfort of your home and acquire knowledge online (eBooks, youtube, and blogs).
The Holy Spirit can fill you with the Spirit of wisdom, knowledge, and

The reason for your
failure is that you lack knowledge (ignorance). Knowledge enhances your
creativity. It makes you invisible, unstoppable, and indestructible. You can do
extraordinary things with uncommon knowledge.
The difference between
the poor and the rich is their level of knowledge. The rich know something the

Nothing happens without a
cause. Until you decide, you remain the same. People die in hunger daily, yet
we serve a loving God (Christ Jesus). Is God wicked to ignore people dying of
hunger?
Never! God works with
laws (meditate on Hosea 4:6). Ignorance of God’s laws makes you a prisoner. God
is not wicked to ignore the sick and poor. He works with laws. Ignorance of
these laws makes you a captive in the enemy’s kingdom. I encourage you to download

You become vulnerable to
the wicked until you feed your mind with spiritual and resourceful knowledge.
Until you fill your mind with superior knowledge, you become a slave in the
enemy’s kingdom. Read books if you don’t want to become a prisoner.
The Word of God is a divine provision.
The Word of God is our
spiritual asset. You have to become one with the Word. I mean, study and obey
the Word. When you become one with the Word, the spiritual resources will
produce tangible resources. Becoming one with the Word does not come by
osmosis. It comes with discipline and studies.
Application of practical knowledge
Tables, chairs, boats,
rubber, and money comes from trees. God only created the trees. You have to use
your mind. Until you expand your mind, your creativity stagnates. Reading is
one of the best ways to expand your creativity.
Tables, chairs, rubbers, and
money will remain in the tree until we use our minds. God could have created
tables, chairs, and rubbers for us. However, he hid them in the tree. God wants
us to use our minds, and one way to expand our minds is to read books.
Until you plant, water,
and protect a seed in fertile soil, it will not grow to become a fruit. God did
not prepare or create jollof rice, banku, fufu, ampesi, and bread. He only
created the seed of maize, cassava, and rice.
You can create varieties
of food and medicines from raw maize, palm nut seeds, cassava and wheat. God
could have prepared or created jollof rice, banku, fufu, ampesi, and soup for
us. However, he only gave us the seed.
In the same way, we can
process raw oil, cocoa, gold, diamond, and several natural resources into profitable
products. It takes the mind to turn these raw products into consumable
products. You must use your mind.
You must read. Expand
your creativity. There are uncountable opportunities. You cannot find them
because you are not using your mind. Expand your creativity by reading. Acquire
additional skills.
The more you read, you
upgrade your skills to become profitable. You need an idea to become
successful. People create services and products to become successful. That’s
the use of the mind. You must read to expand your creativity and skills.
Think of any successful
person; they used their minds. They read books. They created products and
services. In summary, they applied knowledge. Knowledge comes in several ways.
The Holy Spirit can give to you.
You can acquire it by

together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

One reason many
relationships and marriages are breaking is because of ignorance. As the Holy
Bible states, a husband must live with her wife according to knowledge. You
cannot become successful in marriage if you hate knowledge.
It takes knowledge to
live with your partner. It takes wisdom to handle a woman. You need knowledge
to accommodate women because their emotions rule them. It takes a strong mind
to handle an extremely emotional person.

Your money can attract a
woman (wife). However, it takes wisdom to maintain her. Most women first
emotionalize a situation before accepting the fact. As a man, you need advanced
knowledge to handle the woman because she is weak emotionally and physically.
Have you realized that
most women enjoy conflicts? I mean, they can fight with words. They have an
inner strength. Women emotionalize almost everything. If you are going to marry
or relate with a woman, you must be knowledgeable.
You must read books. You
must possess the Spirit of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, or else there
will always be conflict in the house, church, workplace, school and place of
meeting. Read books to escape conflicts and confusion in the house because the
woman needs special treatment. Without knowledge, you cannot treat or handle
the woman. Do you love books? Are you filled with the Holy Spirit?
Wisdom is the master key.
Wisdom is the principal
thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Proverbs
4:7 KJV
We make resources with knowledge.
We manage resources with understanding. We multiply resources with wisdom. As
stated in the Holy Scriptures, wisdom is the principal thing. We don’t use
money and resources to manage wisdom (knowledge).
We use wisdom (knowledge)
to manage money and resources. We use salt and a refrigerator to reserve
(manage and maintain) fish. We don’t use fish (symbol of money) to manage a refrigerator (symbol of wisdom).
We cannot reserve
(manage) fish without salt or a fridge. We use salt and a refrigerator to
manage the fish. It would be best to acquire the salt and refrigerator before
catching the fish, or else the fish will not last long.
The fish will be a waste
in the long run without the salt and refrigerator. In the same way, you need
wisdom (knowledge and understanding) to make, manage, and multiply resources. You
must read to expand your knowledge.
You must read books to
increase in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. You must prioritize wisdom
before resources because, without wisdom, the resources will become a
liability. This is why several resourceful countries, organizations, churches,
businesses, and people live in poverty.
They search for resources
and ignore wisdom. After acquiring the resources, the resources become a waste
because there is no wisdom to manage and multiply the resources. Many poor
countries have numerous resources.
However, they don’t have
the wisdom (knowledge) to manage and multiply the resources. Because of this
ignorance, their citizens are suffering. Even those with the knowledge are not
applying the wisdom.
Because of this arrogance,
the citizens live in pain, confusion, depression, corruption, and poverty. It
is time to engage in books. It is time to read books because wisdom is the
principal thing.
If you want to start
something, know (study) everything about it. For example, if you're going to
start a technology, farming, oil, and artificial intelligence business, read
books about technology, artificial intelligence, oil, and agriculture.
After acquiring the knowledge,
use that information to start the business. Starting a business with no or
little knowledge about that business is a disaster. Reading, studying, and
desiring knowledge with all your heart is mandatory.
Read books to avoid crashing
in the middle of the business. Get wisdom so that you will not fail badly. As the
wise man (Solomon) in the Holy Bible states, wisdom is the principal thing;
therefore, get wisdom (knowledge and understanding). Do you love books? Are you
seeking wisdom from professionals and experts? Read if you don’t want to perish.
Money is a defense; however, wisdom is a master defender
For wisdom is a defence,
and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth
life to them that have it.
Ecclesiastes
7:12 KJV
Money does many things.
Even the Holy Bible states that money answers everything (see Ecclesiastes
10:19). However, you must understand that money has limitations. Money can
attract numerous fake friends but cannot maintain a true friendship.
It takes wisdom to
maintain a true friendship. It takes wisdom to weed out false friends and
detect genuine friends. After all, people can pretend. Haven’t you read and
seen rich people living in depression, fear, and sickness despite their “friends
and loved ones”?
You might think the money
could solve the depression, fear, and sickness of “rich people.” However, depression,
anxiety, and disease continue. One reason money cannot solve the depression,
fear, and sickness of the rich is that they don’t have wisdom.
Poor people face
depression, fear, and sickness. However, a poor wise man can manage depression,
fear, and disease. In the same way, if the rich man has knowledge and lives in
wisdom, he can manage depression, fear, and sickness.
Some problems and
challenges demand knowledge (wisdom). You don’t manage those problems or
challenges with money. You need greater wisdom to make people love you from
their hearts. Money can buy pretenders, cars, houses, and temporal assets.
However, knowing the
heart of the people around you takes wisdom. Maintaining and multiplying the
land, houses, cars, business, and temporal assets takes wisdom. If you don't
have wisdom, someone can kill you and take the money, houses, cars, and
temporal assets.
People can use deceptive
ways to steal your resources if you don’t have wisdom. Money can defend you to
a certain level. However, wisdom rules the money. For example, you have money
to pay doctors to look after you.
If you don’t have the wisdom
to live a healthy life, it doesn’t matter the doctor's knowledge; you will not
last long because you don’t have the understanding to prolong your life. You
don’t have the knowledge (wisdom) to live a healthy life; therefore, your
doctor's effort wastes time, money, and energy.
The doctor will provide you
with medicine because that is his job. The next day, you will fall sick because
you lack the wisdom to maintain your health. The doctor will provide the best
medicine to keep your health because that is his job.
The illness will continue
until you solve (wisdom) the unhealthy lifestyle issue. The doctor will continue
to take money from you because that is his business. And note that the doctor
needs money.
His mission is to make
more money. A time will come the body will be overburdened by the excess
medicine. The antibodies in your system will become weak because of the daily
intake (overdose) of the medicine.
If care is not taken, you
can lose your life. However, a wise man will take good care of himself. Aside from
the doctor giving him medicine, he will apply wisdom. Wisdom gives additional
life. If you don’t want to die before your time, acquire wisdom.
Money can bring doctors
and resourceful people into your life. However, it takes wisdom to prolong your
life. You don’t decide with money. You decide with your brains (brains). Money
can create a welcoming environment, but it takes wisdom to manage the
environment.
You can create a swimming
pool in your environment with money. However, if you don’t keep the swimming
pool clean, harmful parasites will swim with you in the pool. It takes wisdom
to keep your environment and body clean.
You can employ someone to
clean your environment. However, it takes wisdom to detect and hire healthy people.
It takes wisdom to detect and employ a good person who will not cause harm to
your environment.
Haven’t read and seen
house helps and security men destroying their masters. The lack of knowledge
can make you employ wicked people with your money. It takes wisdom to recognize
the right person.
Wisdom brings life. Wisdom
adds value to your wealth. Money can buy you a lawyer. However, it takes wisdom
to connect with the lawyer’s heart. Wisdom is like water. The more you drink
it, it prolongs your life.
Money is like a seed. When
you plant the seed, it will germinate. You need the wisdom to maintain the seed
(the money). You must water (wisdom) the seed and get rid of the weeds. You can
plant numerous seeds in the soil.
However, it takes wisdom grow the seed. It takes wisdom to determine fertile soil. Planting the seed is not as important as planting
the seed in a fertile soil. You need the wisdom to identify the fertile and
infertile soil. Failure to acquire knowledge can make you plant the seed in infertile
soil.
You can plant the seed in
the soil. However, the seed will not germinate until you plant it in fertile
soil, water it, and protect it from weeds. The money can provide the seed.
However, you need the wisdom to grow the seed.
You can buy many assets
(cars, houses, and lands) with money. However, you need the wisdom to maintain
and multiply them. A time will come the cars, houses, and land will become a
liability because you had little or no wisdom to manage and multiply them.

Wisdom is better than silver and gold!
How much better is it to
get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
Proverbs
16:16 KJV
After all, we can do
“anything” with money. We can enjoy life with money. We can travel anywhere
with money. We can marry “any woman” with money. We can eat any food of our
choice with money.
You might be thinking in
that manner. You might be thinking money can do everything. Try connecting with
rich people. You will see that most of them don’t have peace and joy. Aside from
getting the money, most live in pain, fear, regret, and poor health conditions.
It will shock you that
many wealthy people have sleepless nights. Numerous rich people cry in their
chambers. You might think their money could solve their confusion, pain, and
sickness. You might be thinking rich people don’t have problems.
Numerous rich people
desire peace, good health, and loving people around them. However, they cannot
find it. Do you want to know why? They lack wisdom. They have the money but
don’t have the wisdom to deal with their fears, pain, depression, and poor
health.
Rich people need genuine people
to encourage them. However, they cannot find honest people to encourage them.
They even fear someone will kill them for their money and wealth. Although few
rich people enjoy their assets, many cannot find peace.
Their families have become
a disaster. They don’t have time for their children, friends, and loved ones. They
are always busy chasing the wind, not knowing they are rat
racers. Get me right. It is not evil to acquire temporal assets such as
money.
The issue comes when you
pursue money without wisdom. Seeking money without knowledge is a disaster. As
stated at the beginning of the article, you need wisdom to manage money and
resources. The wise man (Solomon) stated that it is better to get wisdom than
gold and silver (money).
How much better is it to
get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!

Acquiring money is good.
However, be a wise person. Read books. Your money will not become a burden when
you are wise and knowledgeable. Your family will not scatter when you have
wisdom.
You will know how to
handle people with your money if you are full of wisdom. What a pleasure to be
a wise rich man! You will enjoy your assets because you have the wisdom to
make, manage, and multiply them.
