How to Dominate Sexual Immorality and Live in Holiness (The Top Fourteen Ways)
Loved one in Christ
Jesus, I believe you are growing in the strength of the Lord. I have observed
that many Christians struggle with sexual immorality because they lack
knowledge in that field. Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Ephesus that no
Christian believer should be found guilty of sexual sin.
…fornication, and all
uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh
saints;
Ephesians
5:3 KJV
If Apostle Paul wrote
that fornication (adultery, harlotry, homosexuality, lesbianism, incest,
bestiality) must not be found among Christian believers, why do we find this
evil among the church?
For this is the will of
God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
That every one of you
should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

Paul further wrote to
the church in Thessalonica that Christian believers must pursue holiness,
purity, righteousness, sanctification, and abstain from fornication because it
is God's will. Child of God, fornication does great harm to your spirit and
soul.
It is one of the
greatest weapons the enemy uses against Christian believers. From my research
and revelations from the Holy Spirit, fornication is one of the aggressive
weapons the enemy uses to break the spiritual life of Christian believers.
I am tempted daily, but
I overcome with God's grace, vigilance, prayer, and knowledge. I have written
many books and articles
on this subject to help the church walk in victory, but it looks like many
Christian believers are ignorant of the dangers.
How can Apostle Paul
write in a strong language "God forbid" concerning fornication (See 1
Corinthians 6:15)? Some Christians argue that fornication is not the only sin
ministers of the gospel should preach about, but the truth is, fornication is a
great evil in the sight of God (See Ezekiel chapter sixteen in the Holy
Scriptures).
Sin is in levels
according to Christ Jesus (See John 19:10-11). Fornication opens the door for
other evil to access a man. Monitor any man or woman who swims in fornication;
such a person can commit any grievous sin with no sense of regret.
Under the old covenant,
some culprits of sexual immorality were stoned or burnt to death (See Leviticus
20:10-12, Leviticus 21:9). If God demanded the death of illicit sexual immoral
people, then it means it was abominable in His sight.
Some people think ministers
of the gospel are the only ones to keep their garments pure from sexual
defilement. They forget that ministers of the gospel are human beings with
feelings like any other human being.
Don't think ministers
of the gospels are the only ones to keep their garment pure from sexual
defilement. Apostle Paul did not write that Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists,
Pastors, and teachers are the only ones to abstain from sexual immorality.
Paul wrote to the
Christian believers in Ephesus, Corinth, and Thessalonica to abstain from
sexual sin, so do not accuse a minister of the gospel when he falls into the
trap of sexual immorality.
It is a standard for
Christian believers. I am not condoning ministers of the gospels who are into
the business of fornication. Every
minister of the gospel must know how to keep his garment spotless.
Although there are many
invisible and deadly sins such as pride, ungodly anger, jealousy, unforgiveness,
discontentment, and the ones you have hidden in your heart, God hates.
God is more concerned
with this deadly sin that harms the soul of man and leads him to his early
grave. It is your responsibility to ask the Holy Spirit in prayers to search
your heart and transform you into His glory.
By God’s grace, sexual
purity is helping me in my spiritual life. I want to share with you some
strategies that work for me. The principles work because it is biblical, tried
and tested. If you follow them, the Holy Spirit will reveal more of Himself to
you.
I have written them in
shorter points so you can understand and apply them in your life. Kindly share

Repentance
…if any man be in
Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things
are become new.

Total deliverance emanates
from Jesus the Christ. If you want God to set you free from sexual bondage
(fornication), acknowledge that it is evil according to the Word (Holy
Scriptures). God created sex for married couples, and its primary purpose is
procreation and intimacy.
Sexual activity outside
the chambers of marriage is evil. Admitting that fornication is sinful opens
the door for Christ Jesus (Holy Spirit) to work on your heart. No one can save
you except Christ Jesus.
Christ Jesus is the
only one to set you free from every bondage (includes sexual sin). If you want
the Holy Spirit to deliver you, pray the prayer of salvation and follow the
instructions for a turnaround.
PRAYER OF SALVATION (CONFESS THIS PRAYER WITH ALL YOUR HEART)
Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ, please forgive me of all my sin and wash me by the blood of Jesus Christ, I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Saviour. I will follow and love you with all my heart.

FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS AFTER THE PRAYERS
1. Delete and format anything that will limit you from the presence of God.
2. Download a Holy Bible on all your electronic devices (King James Version recommended).
3. Buy a hard copy of a Holy Bible (King James Version recommended).
4. Find a church that believes and follows the Holy Bible as their source of final authority and as their reference of doctrine and get baptized in water and with the Holy Spirit.
5. Build a consistent prayer life on your own.
6. Fellowship with the Holy Spirit through the word of God and anointed spiritual songs (worship, praises, and hymnals).
7. Evangelize in your community.

Develop a consistent relationship and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
Likewise the Spirit
also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we
ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which
cannot be uttered.
And he that searcheth
the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession
for the saints according to the will of God.
Romans 8:26-27 KJV
When Christ Jesus comes
into your life, He builds a home in your heart. Before your heart becomes a
solid resident for the Holy Spirit, you must build a consistent relationship
with Him. Your heart is the foundation of your spiritual life.
If you don't build a
strong relationship with the Holy Spirit, you will struggle to walk in the
kingdom's righteousness. The Holy Spirit is the third personality of the Godhead. He
is your helper. He knows the ways of God’s kingdom.
When you build a strong
relationship with the Holy Spirit, He will mould your heart and teach you the
systems of God’s kingdom. You can create a relationship with the Holy Spirit
through Word meditation, biblical and anointed Christian songs.
When you dedicate your
life to the Holy Spirit, the desires of your flesh and soul will surrender to the
leadership of the Kingdom. Sin (includes sexual immorality) will distance itself
from you when it sees that you have build a strong relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Have time for God's Word.
As newborn babes,
desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

God’s Word (Holy
Scriptures) has the power to break every evil (includes lust and sexual
immorality) in our hearts. When you feed on God’s Word, it transforms your
mindset. When the Word of God enters your soul and spirit, it deletes and
formats anything that opposes the wisdom of God and invests the thoughts of the
King (Jesus the Christ) to enable you to behave like the King.
Like an electronic
computer infected by a virus, when you install the latest antivirus on the
computer, the antivirus quarantines and delete the virus corrupting your files;
that is how God's Word works in our spirit and soul. The Word of God is like an
antivirus that clears every virus (evil philosophy) in the system (human spirit
and soul).
4.
Choose wise and godly friends.
Be ye not unequally
yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with
unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
And what concord hath
Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an in_del?
And what agreement hath
the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God
hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and
they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from
among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean
thing; and I will receive you.
And will be a Father
unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

The people you
associate with have a significant impact on your life because their words
affect your soul (Meditate on Proverbs 18:21). If you want to maintain a life
of purity, connect with people that have a reverence for God.
Some people carry the
presence of the Holy Spirit. Walking with god-fearing vessels will produce a
positive impact on your life. You must not allow everybody to come into your
inner chambers. Accept some people in life as acquaintances and walk closely with
people that reverence the Lord.

Consistently watch godly videos.
Wisdom is the principal
thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Proverbs
4:7 KJV
Our body, spirit, and
soul have gates. Our eyes and ears are
some of the entry points of spiritual beings. When you watch videos that glorify
Christ Jesus, it bolsters the strength of your spirit. Godly videos protect
your eye and ear gates from the influence of evil spirits. Meditate on this
Holy Scripture for more profound revelation.

Listen to godly music.
Wisdom is the principal
thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

The words in music affect
your soul. As I wrote in point five that our ears are some entry points of
spiritual beings. When you listen to a song, you open your heart to the spirit that
inspired the singer.
If the Holy Spirit
inspired the singer, the same Spirit would inspire you. When the Holy Spirit inspires
you through sacred music, you will not struggle to dominate any besetting sin in
your Christian life.
Have you realized that
anytime you listen to a particular singer (maybe Don Meon, West life, Esther
Smith, Céline Dion, or your favourite musician), your atmosphere changes? The
spirit behind the music is affecting you in the soul and spirit.
If it is an evil
spirit, it will affect your life negatively. If it is a good spirit, it will
affect your life positively. Meditate on this Holy Scripture for more profound
revelation.

Read godly books.
My people are destroyed
for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject
thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of
thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Ignorance is one of the
invisible weapons of the devil. If you don’t want to perish in life, acquire

Many people engage in
grievous sin because they are ignorant of the dangers. Knowing the risks of sin
(including sexual immorality) will make you think twice when tempted. One of
the ways to acquire knowledge is to read and practice what you have learned.
I will list some
physical dangers of sexual immorality. You can attract deadly diseases such as
Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), Human Immune Virus (HIV),
Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), and Chlamydia. These are few
diseases associated with sexual immorality. Are you ready to risk your life
with these few dangerous diseases?
8.
Build a consistent prayer life.
Pray without ceasing.

One important truth you
must know about life is that before something happens in this world, it
manifests in the spiritual realm as evidence so you can do something about it. If
you doubt the existence of the spiritual realm, analyze your dream life.
When you slept, you saw
yourself in another world whiles your body lay on the bed. That world is a
picture of the spiritual world. If you are a spiritual person, you would understand
this point. Child of God, it takes a consistent prayer life to dominate the
activities of the spiritual realm.
When you build a
consistent prayer life, God shelters you under His indestructible umbrella. In
the season of temptation, God makes way for you to escape because you stood on
your ground and prayed consistently.
Building a consistent prayer
life builds your spiritual muscles. It takes heartfelt prayer to avert the deceptive
schemes of the enemy. A prayerful Christian will not find it challenging to
walk in dominion. Meditate on this Holy Scripture for more profound revelation.
Watch and pray, that ye
enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

9.
Make a covenant with your eyes not to lustfully watch the opposite gender twice
or thrice.
I made a covenant with
mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?
Job
31:1 KJV
When you keep watching
the opposite gender with lustful eyes, you create a sexual connection with the person.
Some people carry evil eyes, so be mindful of the eye gate. David, the king of
Israel, fell into sexual sin with Uriah's wife (Bathsheba) because he couldn’t keep
his eye gate.
In the book of Job,
King Solomon records that Job was a righteous man, and he made a covenant not
to look at a virgin lustfully. Job knew his eye could lead to sin, so he made
an oath not to watch women wrongly.
Child of God, applying
this divine principle will save you from numerous temptations. A Christian friend I admired a lot said to me,
he sees women as trees, but I choose to see women as my sisters and mothers.
Once you see the
opposite sex as a family, your mind will not influence you to engage in sin. The
devil can suggest to your mind. He cannot force you to accept his suggestions.
Avoid the second look if you love Christ Jesus.
10.
Avoid Wicked and Unrepentant sinners.
Be not deceived: evil
communications corrupt good manners

Apostle Paul writes
that evil communication corrupts good manners. Some people carry evil spirits.
Associating with such people will affect your life. Some people carry curses.
The moment you connect with them, the curses operating in their lives affects
you if you are not strong in the Lord.
Have you realized that
anytime you walk with some particular friends, you enjoy the pleasures of sin?
It is because sin has dominated the group. Save yourself from destruction because
unrepentant and corrupt people will influence you to do evil.
11.
Avoid creating a temptation arena.
Can a man take fire in
his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?
Can one go upon hot
coals, and his feet not be burned?
Proverbs
6:27-28 KJV
If you don’t want a
fire outbreak, create a distance between fire and gasoline. If you are dating,
avoid meeting the opposite gender in a secluded or an enclosed area because you
can be tempted to sin.
It doesn’t matter how godly
and anointed you are; you are a human being with emotions and desires. Joseph
fled for his life because he knew the consequence. When the opposite gender calls
for a visit, agree to meet in an open arena where people can easily see both of
you.
12.
Dress in modesty.
In like manner also,
that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and
sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

One important reason
people engage in sexual sin is seductive dressing. If you are a girl, lady,
woman, or wife and observe that people always draw closer to you demanding sex,
analyze your attire. Avoid ungodly fashion, and you will experience
sanctimonious life.
13.
Seek counselling from anointed and godly People
Where no counsel is,
the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
Proverbs
11:14 KJV
Seeking help from a
trusted person can be of great help if you are ready to share your struggles.
Some people are always prepared to help you come out from your bondage. Humble
yourself and seek help from a trusted leader, minister of God, and anyone the Holy
Spirit leads you to because the Holy Spirit delivers people through anointed
vessels. After deliverance, you may need intensive counselling and
psychotherapy.
14. Avoid seductive and porn materials.
Abstain from all
appearance of evil.

Pornographic videos
open the portal for the spirit of lust to dominate you. If you are the type
that loves reading erotic books, you will become a slave to sexual immorality.
The more you watch porn videos, romantic videos and read erotic materials, you
will be tempted to masturbate.
When you become a slave
to masturbation, you will be tempted to practice fornication. Child of God, if
you want to be free from this invisible bondage, repent from this habit and
practice any of the divine principles I gave you. The Holy Spirit will help you
if you take responsibility.
