(PART 2) Understanding and Dealing with the Powers of Delay, Demotion, Stagnation, Backwardness, and Setback
In today’s teaching, I’m going to break down into details about dealing with delay,
shame, stagnation, setback, backwardness, and, I think, poverty.
This is your friend, your pastor, Henry Duodu Appiahkorang, once again.

my previous teaching, I gave several little foundations about the spirit of
stagnation, the spirit of delay, backwardness, and poverty.
In
this teaching, I’m going to break it down into details.
But

So,
in the previous teaching about understanding and dealing with the spirit of
stagnation and delay, I explained that there’s a root cause for this spirit.
I
also explained that shame, stagnation, demotion, backwardness — these are
spirits that work in the supernatural realm, in the celestial realm, in the
soulish realm, in the physical world, in the terrestrial realm — how you call
it, is it terrestrial? Whatever they call it.
It
all works that way.
I
also explained that you have to understand that the spirit of delay and
backwardness has a legal ground, most times from your family background — your
father’s family, your mother’s family.
Also,
the books you read, what you feed on, can also be a channel through which these
powers can get in.
I
also explained in part one that I gave some steps to get free from the spirit.
I
explained that number one is repentance.
I
said that repentance from sin is a very master key.
I
also explained that you must repent from specific sins.
There’s
general sin, there’s original sin, and there are particular sins you have to
repent of to get rid of this spirit.
I
also explained that you must use the midnight hour.
Constantly
use the midnight hour — I explained that in part one.
I
also explained that you must constantly renew your mind through relevant books
and also through the Holy Bible.
I
also explained that you must build a strong relationship with the Holy Spirit —
I explained that in the previous teaching.
I
also taught about a holiness lifestyle on how to break free from the spirit of
delay, backwardness, stagnation, and demotion.
I
also explained that if you constantly declare God’s promise over your life, it
can also lead to deliverance.
I
also explained that you deal with both your good and bad dreams.
I
also explained in part one that you must fellowship with a ministry that is
strong in prayer, deliverance, fasting, and ministries that is Word-based.
So,
I explained that also. Vacate a cursed jurisdiction. Also sow seed — I think I said
that.
Also,
disassociate from hardened and unrepentant sinners — I explained that also.
I
also said that you must not be equally yoked with people who are not born
again.
I
also explained that you must also yoke with people who are godly — I mean godly
vessels who are born again.
Connect
with them.
I
also explained that you must deal with self-imposed curses.
I
also explained that you must break yourself away from family curses.
I
think I gave many power points in part one.
I
also explained that you must get rid of the portals — several portals.
There
are some invisible holes through which the enemy can get in.
So,
you look at the portals, the systems, the gateways.
I
explained that in part one.
I
also said, honor your parents — honor your father, your mother, in the Lord.
And
also, I gave several master keys, I think over 30 keys, in part one.
So,

These
are things called Understanding and Dealing with Shame, Stagnation, and
Demotion by Duodu Henry Appiahkorang, or by Prophet Henry Appiahkorang .
So
once again, we are going to get into part two.
In
part two, I’ll try my best to go deeper into these teachings.
Are
you getting me? In part two, I’m going to give you some biblical foundations
about this spirit from the New Testament, and also give you some of the fruits
that show themselves when the spirit of stagnation and demotion are working in
your life.
So,
you have to know these things.
I’ll
also explain to you some of the signs to know that these spirits are operating
in your life.
I’ll
also give you the causes — the main causes — why you are going through these
spirits or going through these powers, and also give you some way out to break
free from this spirit of stagnation.
So,
let us dive deeper into the teachings.
Once

Listen
very well — it will help in your Christian life personally.
Understand
that to know this spirit — to know and understand the spirit of stagnation,
demotion, and setback — it’s a gang of spirits.
It’s
a gang of evil spirits. It’s a gang of demons. It’s a gang of powers. Are you
getting me?
So,
you must understand that spirits work in groups.
Spirits
work like in a family — like a community, like a system.
Are
you getting me? For instance, in a family, you have the father, the mother, and the children.
Demons
also have their own family system.
Now,
for instance, if you look at the spirit of death, the spirit of death works
with the spirit of fear.
It
works with the spirit of unforgiveness and anger.
Are
you getting me? These demons work together.
So,
wherever you see the spirit of death, you see the spirit of fear, you see the
spirit of anger, you see the spirit of unforgiveness, you see the spirit of
bitterness.
Are
you getting me? These are spirits that work together.
In
the same way, the spirit of delay works with the spirit of stagnation, shame,
demotion, poverty, and backwardness.
Are
you getting me? So, it’s a gang of demons.
And
demons are in ranks.
Demons
are like servants in the kingdom of darkness.
By
the grace of God, I have had several encounters with this spirit.
And
you see, I’ll go deeper into these things because the things of the spirit are
very, very important.
You
see, Paul says that there’s a battle going on in the realms of the spirit.
Before
I dive into that, understand that Paul himself encountered the spirit of delay
and stagnation in his life in the New Testament.
Some
people claim that once you are born again, there is nothing like that.
Yes,
they say that God has defeated the principalities and powers; He has brought
them down.
Yes,
these are all biblical truths.
However,
you have to understand that the devil and his minions — the devil and his
vessels, the devil and his cohorts, the devil and his followers — they are very
rebellious.
They
are extremely rebellious and disobedient, and they try to challenge whatever God
has established.
So,
in their defeat, they even try to oppose.
That
is why in the book of 1 Peter 5:8–9, the Bible says that we must be sober.
We
must be vigilant because our adversary, the devil, as a roaring lion, walks
about seeking whom he may devour.
And
that we must resist him steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same
afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
So,
understand that the devil is like a roaring lion in the realms of the spirit.
In
the spiritual realm, demons are sent by higher ranks of demons to work on
certain people, to work in certain jurisdictions.
Are
you getting me?
In
the realms of the spirit, there are principalities.
As
the Bible says in the book of Ephesians 6:10–12, where Paul says,
“Finally,
my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”
We
must put on the whole armor of God so that we can stand against all the fiery
darts of the wicked.
For
we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against powers, against
principalities, against rulers of darkness, spiritual hosts of wickedness in
high places.
So, you understand that there are dimensions, levels, ranks, and hierarchies in the realms of the spirit.
Are
you getting me? They are hierarchies.
They
are in levels.
They
are powers, authorities, spiritual wickedness, demons, forces, princes in the
realms of the spirit.
Yes,
child of God, I’m not trying to lift up Satan.
No,
I’m teaching you from the Bible that demons are in ranks.
Evil spirits are in ranks.
Some
are principalities.
Some
are fallen angels.
Some
are demons.
Some
are like those in the dwarfs, those in the marine, those in the water spirit,
those in the air, those in the sea, those under the earth, those in the
heavenlies.
These
are ranks.
These
are powers.
They
work.
And
you’ve got to understand that in the book of 1 Thessalonians 2:18 — I’m giving
the foundation for this teaching — from there I’ll dive deeper into the Word of
God.
I’m
giving you the biblical foundation for this teaching.
So
once again, this is your pastor, your prophet, Henry Duodu Appiahkorang.
So,
in 1 Thessalonians 2:18, Apostle Paul said, “Wherefore we would have come unto
you, even I Paul, once and again, but Satan hindered us.”
You
see that? Paul said that he wanted to come.
Paul
wanted to come to the church in Thessalonica.
He
and his missionaries, the brethren, wanted to come to Thessalonica, to the
churches, to preach the gospel for the ministry.
But
he says that Satan hindered them again.
It
was not once that Satan hindered Apostle Paul and his missionaries.
This
was after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Are
you getting me?
So,
the spirit of delay worked with Satan to hinder Paul.
Are
you getting me?
The
Bible says, “Wherefore we would have come unto you, but even I Paul once and
again — not once, once and again—but Satan hindered us.”
Satan
delayed us.
Satan
stagnated us.
Satan
limited us.
Satan
put a barrier in our way.
So,
the devil works with the spirit of delay — familiar spirits, monitoring spirits
— that work to stagnate the mission and plans of God for our lives.
So,
we can see from the Bible that even Apostle Paul was attacked by the spirit of
stagnation, the spirit of delay.
Let’s
say, the spirit of backwardness.
Because
if you are delayed, you are drawn back.
If
you are delayed, you are stagnated.
If
you are delayed, it can bring shame.
I’ll
go deeper into that.
Are
you getting me?
So,
we can see from the Holy Bible in 1 Thessalonians 2:18 that Paul was hindered
by the devil using familiar spirits.
If
you read the book of Romans 15:12, Paul also said, “For which cause also I have
been much hindered from coming to you.”
So,
in the book of Romans 15:12, Paul says that he was much, several times,
hindered from coming to the church in Rome.
So
again, understand that we don’t know how he was hindered — but spiritually, it
might be financially, socially, psychologically, maybe spiritually.
We
can cover all those aspects.
But
I’m looking to the spiritual aspect — that spiritually, Paul was hindered.
Maybe
financially, Paul was hindered.
Maybe
socially, maybe through the other world, Paul was hindered.
So,
you’ve got to understand that Paul says that “I was much hindered.”
He
was hindered several times, according to Romans 15:12 and also in 1
Thessalonians 2:18.
Are
you getting the key concept here?
Now,
in the book of Psalm 74:20, we’ve got to understand — the Bible says, “Have
respect unto the covenant, for the dark places of the earth are full of the
habitations of cruelty.”
So,
the powers and forces and authorities here — the Bible says it is full of
habitations of cruelty and wickedness.
Are
you getting me?
So,
they are wicked powers.
They
are wicked people.
They
are satanic agents in dark, secret worlds who work underground, who work with
witches and wizards and all kinds of astrology, diviners, witches, wizards.
These
are powers that sabotage, that bring delay, that bring curses, that use
enchantments and bewitchments to delay and stagnate.
So
understand that it’s a reality in this world — that the spirit of delay,
stagnation, and demotion, backwardness work with these powers.
As
the Bible says in Psalm 74:22, “Have respect unto the covenant, for the dark
places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.”
I
also explained in 1 Peter 5:8 where the Bible says we must be sober.
We
must be vigilant, because our adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh
about seeking whom he may devour — and that we must resist him in the faith.
Are
you getting me?
If
you read the book of Ephesians 6:12, it says we wrestle not against flesh and
blood, but against powers.
In
John 10:10 — I did that in part one also — “The thief cometh not but for to
steal, and to kill, and to destroy.”
So,
there are several biblical expositions that we can give to you — that the
spirit of delay, the spirit of stagnation, demotion, and backwardness are
spirits that are working.
And sometimes, they give us some fruits to know that these spirits are working in our lives.
I’m going to give you about five to ten fruits, symbols, or signs to know that these spirits are working in your life.
Most
times, in your social life, there is a delay.
Maybe
in your marital life, you are supposed to marry maybe at the age of 30, but you
are still 35, you are 40, and you are not still married.
It’s
the spirit of delay that is working in your life.
They
want to delay you in your marital life.
You
see that the devil hates a godly family.
The
devil hates the family.
So
maybe you are 30, maybe you are 40, maybe you are 50 — you are still not
married.
There
was a time, I think, a man of God called me on the phone.
He
told me, “Pastor, I am more…” — I think he was an old man or so, I don’t
remember the age, but he was many years.
So
he called me on the phone and said, “Pastor, I’m an old man. I’m still praying
for a wife to marry.”
He
called me on the phone and said, “Pastor, I’m an old man and I’m still waiting
on God for marriage.”
The
way he was talking, I could see that he was about 50 years old, and he was still
praying for marriage.
So,
the devil can delay you in your marital life.
You
are supposed to marry at a certain age, but he will still be delaying you.
And
I’ll teach you how he does these things — how he works so you cannot get the
right connection.
Are
you getting me?
The
people you are supposed to connect with — you see that the devil will be
sabotaging you, not to connect with the right people.
Are
you getting me? I mean destiny helpers who are supposed to come into your life
to help you, maybe to connect you, to endorse you, to receive recommendations
or approval from others — people of power, people of authority who are supposed
to acknowledge you, to endorse you, to recommend you — they will reject you.
You
are not able to connect because it’s the spirit of delay.
And
this delay works with shame.
It
works with rejection.
It
works with backwardness, with setbacks, with poverty.
So, understand that the spirit of delay — some of the fruits or some of the symbols
to know that you are working with that spirit — is that you are always late in
your marital life.
I
said that you are not connecting rightly.
You
lack destiny helpers.
They
will not come your way.
You
don’t get a better job.
Maybe
you are searching for a job — you struggle and struggle and struggle to get
one.
If
you get a job, it’s a bad job.
You
are underdeveloped.
Are
you getting me?
You
are not properly employed.
Even
if you’re employed, you are paid a very low salary.
Are
you getting me?
So,
the spirit of delay also makes you live in a bad environment, in the wrong
place.
Are
you getting me?
He
will make sure that you go and stay in the wrong family, in the wrong house, in
the wrong community — because he wants to stagnate you.
Another key is that you see a delay in your financial life — maybe a lack of money, insufficient money.
You
are going through poverty and lack.
You’ll
be spending lavishly on medicine, on all kinds of unnecessary expenses and
budgets, because the spirit of delay and stagnation, demotion — he wants to
make you go back.
He
wants to stagnate your life.
He
wants to bring you back.
So,
he will make sure that you lack.
He
will make sure that you spend money on medicine to cure.
He
will make sure that you spend money on certain unnecessary things.
He
will bring mockery into your life.
Are
you getting me?
He
will make people reject you wherever you go.
There
is rejection wherever you go.
You
are being rejected unnecessarily.
You
are being shamed.
You
are being falsely accused.
These
are witchcraft attacks.
It’s
a fruit of the spirit of delay that is working in your life.
Child
of God, if you see these things — the spirit of delay, stagnation, demotion,
backwardness — is working actively in your life.
Another
key is that you also have some kind of constant sickness.
Maybe
the day you get money, that’s the same day you fall sick and use that same
money to go and buy medicine or go to the hospital.
It’s
the spirit of delay, because that money that you’re supposed to use to do
something important, the spirit of delay and stagnation will make sure that you
use that money to cure yourself.
Are
you getting me?
The
spirit of delay can also make you depressed — unexplained depression,
unexplained hopelessness, unexplained fear, unexplained pain.
You
see, the Bible says that God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power,
love, and a sound mind.
So,
child of God, anytime you see this fruit in your life, understand that the
spirit of delay, stagnation, demotion, and backwardness is working in your
life.
I
will give you some practical ways on how to break this thing.
So

some signs. I’m going to give you some signs, some symbols.
I
think I gave you the fruits?
For
instance, I’m going to give you some of the signs to know that the spirit of
delay, stagnation, backwardness, and setback is working in your life.
These
are some of the signs — I mean, some of the symbols, some of the keys — to know
that these spirits are working in your life.
These
demons, these principalities, these powers.
You
see, some are princes, some are very strong. You see, these spirits are in
ranks.
Let
me explain this in detail.
Sometimes
it can be a demon. For demons, you can deal with them in a very easy way.
But
when they are principalities or when they are powers or when they are spiritual
rulers of wickedness in high places, it will take time because it is a rank.
Are
you getting me?
So
you have to know, and I’ll teach you how to deal with them.
Now,
some of the signs to know that the spirit of stagnation, demotion, and
backwardness is working in your life.
Number
one is that sometimes in your dream, you have a constant dream of seeing
yourself in your childhood school or village.
You
are doing unnecessary things — maybe you see yourself back with your mother or
father in the village in dream.
Most often, you see yourself, with your former primary school teacher, your JHS teacher, you are in the classroom, you are being beaten, you are like a child in a dream.
You
can’t know what you are doing there in the dream.
Most
often, the dream comes constantly — almost every day, almost every week.
You
see yourself back in kindergarten, back in JHS, back in senior high school.
You
see yourself back in the village.
You
are writing exams, you can’t write the examination, and you struggle to write.
You
feel uncomfortable. You are wearing your old school uniform like you are in
that old school.
You
see that in dream.
Most
often, it means that the spirit of stagnation, delay, and backwardness is at
work in your life.
Are
you getting me?
So
know this thing.
Also,
you constantly dream that you see yourself unable to climb a mountain.
You
struggle and struggle, but can’t climb a certain mountain, a certain cliff.
Are
you getting me?
You
struggle to climb certain mountains, certain walls, certain ladders.
It’s
a dream of stagnation. It’s a dream of delay because God is speaking to you.
Are
you getting me?
Sometimes
you dream and see yourself falling from a staircase or maybe from a lift.
Maybe
you are on a lift, but instead of the lift going up, it’s going down.
In
the dream, you see that the lift is bringing you down.
That
is the spirit of stagnation, the spirit of demotion, the spirit of
backwardness, the spirit of setback.
Are
you getting me?
So
if you constantly dream that you are falling from a staircase, from a lift, or
from the sky to the ground, it’s a spirit of stagnation.
Also,
in your dream, you constantly see yourself in the public toilet.
You
are like in the lavatory, walking among filth or around that place.
It’s
a spirit of shame. It’s a spirit of rejection.
Spirit
of stagnation, demotion.
I
will teach you how to break these things because these are signs to know that
this spirit is at work in your life.
By
the grace of God, I have experienced these things. So I know what I’m saying.
I
know what I’m saying to you. I’ve experienced all these things myself.
So
I’ve been through these things, and by the grace of God, God is really helping
me come out of these things.
So,
child of God, what I’m teaching here — they are experiential, they are
biblical, they are very true.
So
take it seriously. Are you getting me?
Also,
you constantly dream that your hair is being shaved — like somebody is shaving
your hair.
Are
you getting me?
Your
hair stands for your glory. It stands for your power. It stands for honor.
So
when you dream and constantly see that somebody is shaving your hair, your
beard, or shaving you completely — by an unknown person — it means that the
enemy is trying to stagnate your life.
They
are delaying your life, taking your glory, taking your honor, bringing you
backward.
It’s
a spirit of retrogression, a spirit of setback.
Are
you getting me?
So,
child of God, know this thing.
You
also constantly dream that your goods are being stolen — maybe your phone, your
property, your bag — something precious is stolen or destroyed by an unknown
person.
It’s
a spirit of stagnation, a spirit of setback, a spirit of backwardness, a spirit
of shame and poverty.
Are
you getting me?
Sometimes
you also constantly dream of having sexual intercourse, and you can see the
physical reaction, like you release physically in the dream.
You
constantly have sexual intercourse.
I
know sometimes there can be certain natural signs, whatever they call it.
If
you constantly dream that you are having sexual intercourse and that physically
you release, child of God, most often these spirits work with the marine
spirit.
These are spirits of delay, stagnation, backwardness, setback — they work with the marine
kingdom, with water spirits and witchcraft spirits in the marine world.
Child
of God, I know what I’m saying to you.
So
most often, in your dream, somebody will be seducing you.
You
see yourself engaging in sexual acts, and by the time you wake up, you are wet.
When
this thing happens, the enemy plants a seed of stagnation in you.
The
Bible says that whatever the Heavenly Father has not planted in our lives shall
be rooted out.
Child
of God, anytime you see yourself being sexually aroused, being seduced, and it
goes on continually — almost every week, every day — child of God, these
spirits are there to plant stagnation, shame, poverty, laziness, and rejection.
They
are there to plant this seed in you.
That
is why, after they sleep with you, there is a connection. There is a covenant.
There
is a bond. They leave something with you and take something out of you.
So,
child of God, when you constantly dream that you are having sexual intercourse,
it’s a familiar demon, a witchcraft spirit.
It’s
a spirit of delay, stagnation, and setback.
Know
this thing also.
If
you constantly dream that you are walking aimlessly on a lonely road —
sometimes a very empty, untarred road — you don’t know the end of it.
You
are just in the middle, walking hopelessly and aimlessly.
Child
of God, it’s a spirit of confusion, setback, stagnation, backwardness, and
demotion working in your life.
So,
child of God, if you constantly dream of these things, know that they are at
work in your life.
Also,
if you constantly dream that you are naked — maybe wearing tattered clothes
like a mad person — child of God, that’s a spirit of shame, a spirit of
rejection.
People
are accusing you, enemies are falsely accusing you, and this brings public
disgrace.
They
want people to reject you.
This
is the spirit that works with delay, stagnation, shame, and poverty.
So,
child of God, know this thing. I will teach you how to work on it.

So
if you constantly dream about this thing—you are naked, always naked, you are
wearing tattered clothes, you are on a lonely road—are you getting me?
This
is a spirit of stagnation and shame working in your life, and I'll teach you
how to overcome this thing.
Now,
if you constantly see that like your fruits—maybe you see fruit getting rotten,
maybe you see yourself in a harvest—but immediately you see that the fruits are
rotten, the fruits are being attacked.
Maybe
you see mangoes—these are ripe mangoes—but in the next minute, you check and all
the mangoes are rotten.
Maybe
you see pineapples, maybe you see oranges, maybe you see coconuts, but you see
that all these things are immediately getting spoiled.
It
is getting rotten. Maybe you are eating this rotten food—rotten bananas, rotten
apples.
These
are spirits of stagnation. They are sabotaging your blessings. They are
sabotaging your breakthrough.
They
are delaying you. They are stagnating you. They are bringing you backward. They
are bringing pain.
Child
of God, know this thing also. If you constantly—are you getting me—and the
dreams are very, very plenty.
Like, wherever you go, wherever you go, you are being hated, you are being rejected.
Unexplainable
rejection, unexplainable hatred, unexplainable accusation for false things.
Wherever
you go, people reject you, people accuse you, people hate you, people oppose
you.
Like
you are always rejected in the workplace, in the public sector, in your
society, school, or home—wherever—people are just rejecting you.
People
are accusing you. People are falsely fighting you. People just hate you like
that.
And
most often, these are witches who put a symbol of hatred against you.
They
put a mark of hatred, a mark of rejection, and they work with a spirit of
stagnation and delay to bring you down.
So,
child of God, don't keep quiet on these things. Are you getting me?
Also,
you constantly hear some animals following you. You hear the cry of animals.
Maybe
you hear some animals crying loudly all the time.
For instance, physically, you see crows—wherever you go, they are shouting at you, crying at you.
Right?
Wherever you go, you see these crows, particularly vultures or hawks, crying
against you.
They
will be following you. They will be crying. They will be cawing against you
physically as you're going.
It’s
a spirit. It’s a monitoring spirit. It’s a familiar spirit.
Child
of God, it’s a spirit of stagnation, delay, backwardness, and poverty.
They
are monitoring you to see how you are doing.
So,
child of God, if you constantly see crows, vultures, or certain animals crying
against you, following you, chasing you, calling at you physically as you're
going—
This
is the spirit of stagnation, demotion, poverty, shame, and backwardness working
in your life.
So,
child of God, know this thing. I will teach you how to overcome this.

child of God, know this also. Another key to know that the spirit of shame is
working in your life is that most often you constantly hear the cry of certain
animals in your windows at midnight.
Sometimes
you see or hear in the midnight hour—the cry of a hawk.
They
will just cry loudly. It’s a principality. It’s a power. It’s a witchcraft
spirit.
Most
times, around 12:00 midnight, sometimes around 1:00, sometimes 11:30, 2:00,
3:00, sometimes 3:30,—you will hear these animals.
They’ll
be crying loudly on your rooftop. They’ll be making noise on your rooftop.
Almost
every midnight, they will come near—maybe at your windows.
You
will hear some cats crying while you are asleep.
They’ll
be crying loudly. They will be crying loudly.
You hear crows making noise all the time at midnight.
These
are monitoring demonic witchcraft spirits—spirits of delay, backwardness,
shame, and poverty.
They
are there to monitor you. They are there to stagnate you.
As
they cry, they cry away your blessings.
As
they shout, they are taking authority over your soul.
As
they shout, they are making you weak in the realms of the spirit.
Child
of God, you see, I have experienced this thing.
So
I know what I’m saying to you. It is real.
It
is very, very real.
You
might not see it, but the reason why I know is that you are weak.
If
you are very strong in the spirit, you can see these things happening, and I’ll
teach you how to overcome them and break them.
So,

So,
child of God, don’t be silent. Don’t be quiet.
Know
how to attack. Know how to defend.
The
Bible says that we must put on the whole armor of God so that we can stand
against all the fiery darts of the wicked.
So,
child of God, understand that you have to resist the enemy.
Don’t
give way to the devil. Resist him. Oppose him. Counterattack.
These
things are biblical because the devil is rebellious.
He’s
unrepentant. He’s wicked.
He’s
come to steal, to kill, and to destroy.
He
roams about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
He
says, “Watch and pray that you will not fall into temptation.”
Child
of God, the enemy has set traps. I’m not saying this to make you fear.
No, to make you stay vigilant because the Bible says we must be vigilant.
We
must be sober.

Peter 5:8–9, Matthew 26:41 — are you getting me?
You
know all these key concepts here.
So,
child of God, Jesus said, “Behold, I give you power to trample over the
serpent, over the scorpion, over the power of the wicked.”
There’s
a reason why God gave you power — to overcome, to trample, to overshadow, to
walk, to stand in your victory.
Because
the rebellious enemy will not keep quiet.
He
will come. He will try to put fear.
He
will try to bring depression and hopelessness.
He
will try to make you sad. He’ll try to make you hopeless.
He
will try to make you angry.
Child
of God, don’t give in. Don’t give any place to the devil.
Because
he is an angry lion.
His
main agenda is to steal, to kill, and to destroy.
Don’t
joke. Stand on the word of God.
Are
you getting me? And also — so I think this is enough.
So
sometimes it goes—so I’m going to give you some of the causes.
The
main causes or some of the causes why the spirit of delay, stagnation, and
demotion are working in life.
Number
one key, you see, I said in Part One that there’s always a root cause or a
reason why things happen.
Nothing
happens without a cause. Are you getting me?
So
before anything happens, there must be a cause.
We
call it the law of cause and effect, whatever they call it.
But,
child of God, nothing happens without a cause.
Are
you getting me? So before anything happens, there’s a legal entry point.
The
reason why the spirit of delay, stagnation, and setback is at work is because
there’s a reason why.
So
if you want to hear more, go to Part One.
I’ve
also explained in detail about this thing.
So
I’m going to give you some master keys to know some of the causes why these
familiar spirits are working.
If
you know these causes, you know how to stop them.
Because
if you know the causes, you know how to put in place what to work on.
For
instance, if you are sick of malaria, you know the best drug to take.
If
you are sick of typhoid, you know the drug.
If you are sick with a fever, you know the drug to take.
So
if you know the cause of the sickness, you provide the best medicine to cure
it.
In
the same way, if you know the causes or the reason why the spirit of stagnation
and demotion is working in your life, you know how to counterattack this
thing.
So, child of God, know this.
So,
child of God, know the number one cause is that you see, sometimes it's not
everything — it's not everything the devil. Get me right. Sometimes it’s in the
plans of God that God may delay you. So know this key: delays occur in two
dimensions. Delay can come from God. It can come from the devil. Know the key
concept here.
The
Bible says that, “I know the thoughts that I have toward you, not of evil, but
to bring you to an expected end.” So know this key here: God will not give you
anything that will destroy you. We serve a loving God. We serve a merciful God.
We serve a God who can see the future, who knows your strength — who knows your
emotional strength, your spiritual strength, your mental strength, your sexual
strength. He knows everything about you. He’s omnipresent.
So,
God knows your level. God knows how mature you are. So he will not give you
something that will destroy you. Sometimes God intentionally delays you just to
build you. God can delay you just to train you. God can delay you to mold you.
You see, the Bible says that God is like—He is a builder. He molds us. Are you
getting me?
So
if you look, for instance, at Joseph in the Bible, you see that this guy Joseph
was a very great man whom God blessed. But God had to delay him sometimes. He
went through prison. He was falsely accused. He was sold by his brothers as a
prisoner, as a slave.
He
learned a lot in prison. He learned humility. He learned obedience. He learned
love. He learned forgiveness. As he was in prison, as he went through the
affliction, as he was rejected and falsely accused, all these things — God was
using them to train Joseph.
So
sometimes it’s in the plan of God to delay you — just to build you. To build
you morally. To build you mentally. To build you spiritually. To build you
physically. To build you for the work.
Because
if you’re not mature enough for the work, how can you handle the people? So,
child of God, not every delay is of the devil. Some delays are from God. And
the delays of God will not destroy you. The delays of God will rather build
you. They will rather train you.
So,
in the book of 2 Corinthians 12:7, the Bible says, “And lest I should be
exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given
to me a thorn in the flesh — the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should
be exalted above measure.”
So
we see that Paul explained that there was a thorn in the flesh — a messenger of
Satan — to buffet him, lest he should be exalted above measure. So sometimes,
in the ways of God, God can decide to limit you, to bring you down, because you
are not mature for the work. He has to train you.
So,
child of God, don’t complain: “Oh, why am I being delayed?” No, child of God.
God knows why He’s doing that. So don’t always accuse the devil. God may
intentionally delay you just to help you meet the right people.
He
may delay you to help you know certain things, to know certain truths, to have
certain experiences. Are you getting me? To help you know about life, about the
Word of God, about people, and about certain wisdom you have not been exposed
to.
God
will train you. He will craft you. He will mold you. He will let you go through
some of the affliction, some of the pains — just to empower you, just to refine
you like gold. Gold has to go through a refinery. It has to go through the
fire. It has to be refined several times. Are you getting me? To see its pure
form, its pure power, its pure carat. Are you getting me?
So
understand that if you’re a child of God, don’t think that God is punishing
you. No, God is not punishing you. Delay can come from God. But I said earlier
that the delay of God does not lead to destruction. The delay of God leads to
exaltation. The delay of God changes you. The delay of God empowers you. The
delay of God trains you.
The
delay of God molds you. The delay of God sharpens you. The delay of God builds
you for the future, for the work, for the ministry, for the goodness of others.
The Bible says that “All things work together for good to them that love God,
and to those who are called according to His purpose.”
So,
child of God, if you are in the plans of God, you see — sometimes, as a father,
will you buy a car for your 10-year-old boy to drive in the street? No, you
will not buy a four-wheel car for your 10-year-old boy to drive. The boy will
kill himself. The boy will die. Are you getting me?
So in the same way, God is a loving Father. He knows you. So he will not give you something that will destroy your Christian faith. He will not give you something that will make you backslide. He will not give you something that will make you defile yourself. No — He knows why He is delaying you. So, delay can come from God.
Now, another thing is that you are going through a delay because you have weak faith.
You
have weak faith.
You
see that Peter said, “God, increase our faith.”
So
your faith can be weak.
The
Bible says that faith comes by hearing and by hearing.
So
the more you hear the Word of God, the more you grow.
So
if your faith is weak, it can delay you.
You
know the story of Abraham and Sarah.
You
see that Sarah was doubting; Sarah did not somehow believe.
So
because of that, she was delayed in a certain way.
So, lack of faith or weak faith will empower the spirit of delay and stagnation to
work in your life.
Are
you getting me?
Because
without faith it is impossible to please God.
God
is looking at your faith.
The
most important virtue that you need to connect with God — to accept and to
overcome the plan of the devil — is your faith level.
So
if your faith is very, very weak, you lack faith.
Your
faith is very weak. You have a very weak faith, child of God.
You
are dominated by the devil to be worked upon.
So
if your faith is weak, you have fear.
If
your faith is weak, the devil will take you to a realm where he can manipulate
you.
If
your faith is weak, child of God, you become a victim in the hands of the enemy
to be controlled.
So
if you have a weak faith, then child of God, the spirit of delay and stagnation
will always be controlling.
So
know this key concept here.
Another reason is that you have a weak prayer life or a weak fasting life.
If
you have a weak prayer life and a weak fasting life, you will see that all the
time, demons will be controlling you.
Because
if you don't have a strong prayer life, in the realm of the spirit, you are
weak.
The
reason why the Bible says that we should watch and pray is that the devil
has set traps for us.
Physically,
we are weak, but in the realms of the spirit, we are strong.
So
as you fast and pray, you empower and charge yourself.
So,
child of God, if you have a weak prayer life, if you don't fast for the whole
month—even people hearing me as I’m speaking—at least every week, by the grace
of God, I fast.
At
least every week, I fast to build myself, because I’ve come to a level where if
I don’t fast, I feel like I have done something wrong.
It
has become part of me.
So
if you don’t love to pray, your prayer life is very weak.
You
don’t pray at midnight, you don’t pray in the morning, you don’t pray in the
evening.
There
is no prayer life for you.
The
Bible says, “Pray without ceasing.”
The
Bible says, “Do not sleep like the others; let us watch and be prayerful.”
So
if you have no prayer life, a weak prayer life, a weak fasting life, or no fasting
life, these demons will begin to attack you.
If
you have a weak prayer life and a weak fasting life, your flesh will control
you.
Because
if you are weak in the spirit, your flesh becomes strong.
If
you are weak in the spirit, the lustful desires of the soul will begin to
control you.
And
if your lustful desires of the soul and flesh dominate you, automatically, the
spirit of delay or demons begin to manipulate you.
That
is why those who are controlled by their conscience or by their mind are always
manipulated by the devil.
If
you are led by the Spirit of God, if your mind is full of God’s Word, if you
are full of prayer and fasting, you are empowered.
The
Bible says that those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.
They
shall mount up with wings as eagles.
So,
child of God, understand that if you have a weak prayer and fasting life, you
empower the spirit of delay, stagnation, and poverty to work in your life.
Are
you getting me?
Another reason why you are going through a delay is that you have no consecrated life.
No
consecration.
Jesus
said, “I sanctify myself through the Word of God.”
So
if you have not set yourself apart for Christ, you live anyhow.
You
don’t fear the Word of God.
You
don’t obey the Word of God.
You
don’t respect God’s Word. You don’t honor God’s Word.
You
fornicate anyhow. You talk anyhow. You go to nightclubs.
You
don’t have a life of consecration.
You
have not set yourself apart for Christ, for the church, child of God.
Because
of that lifestyle, you are open to the attack of the wicked.
A
Christian who is not consecrated for God and for the church, in fact, is an
open portal for the wicked one.
So
if there is no consecration of life, if you don’t allow the Word of God to abide
inside you, then you live by your conscience.
Therefore, you keep saying, “It is by grace. It is by grace. It is by grace.”
Child
of God, understand that there is a mandate for you to set yourself apart for
Christ.
In
Romans 12:1, the Bible says, “I beseech you, brethren, by God’s mercies, that
we present our bodies a living sacrifice.”
It
must be holy. It must be acceptable unto God.
So,
child of God, if there is no consecration of life, you are open to the attack of
the wicked one.
Another
reason why you are being attacked by these demons or by these evil powers is
that you have not understood that there are some unbroken curses.
There
are some unbroken curses in your father’s family.
There
are some unbroken curses in your mother’s family.
You
have to know this thing.
There
are some satanic yokes in your family, in your jurisdiction.
There
are some yokes which must be broken.
Some
satanic yokes, some evil yokes, some demonic yokes in your families, in the
area you are living, in the workplace.
You
have not dealt with the yokes there.
The
Bible says that because of the anointing, the yoke shall be broken.
So,
child of God, yokes are like burdens.
Yokes
are like loads. Yokes are like ropes.
Yokes
are like chains that the enemy will put on you.
Because
of the yoke, demons have the legal grounds.
So
if you have not dealt with the yokes in your family, in your mother’s family,
in your father’s family, in the area you are living, in your workplace, maybe
the school you went to — there might be some yoke, some covenant in that place.
Until
you deal with the yokes out there, child of God, the spirit of stagnation and
demotion will continue to operate.
If
you are ignorant of God’s Word, the devil will get access to your life.
As
the Bible says in Hosea 4:6 — that’s my very good scripture — “For the lack of
knowledge, my people perish.”
So
if you lack the Word of God inside you, you become empty.
If
there is no Word inside you, you are full of darkness.
Because
there is no light inside you.
David
said that the Word of God is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.
So
in Psalm 119:105, we can see that the Word of God is a light, a lamp.
It
leads us. It guides us.
So,
child of God, if there is no Word inside you — inside your soul, inside your
inner man — there will be total darkness.
And
the devil loves to stay in dark places, in dry places.
So
if there is no Word, if you don’t know the Word of God, if you are not full of
God’s Word, then the demons of stagnation, demotion, and backlash will begin to
stay and then begin to control and manipulate your mind.
Are
you getting me? So if you lack the word of God, you open the portal for the
demons to access your life. Are you getting me?
And
also, it might be the wickedness of your fathers and your family members that
have brought curses and that have been transferred to you. Sometimes your
father might have done some wickedness. I know that sometimes it is said that the sin of the father will not be put on the son.
Something
like that. I think Ezekiel 18:20. I think in another place also, I think
Lamentations 5:7 says that our fathers have sinned, and then we are bearing the
iniquities. I think it is there in Lamentations 5:7, and then Ezekiel 18:20
talks about these things out there.
Sometimes
your parents or our parents can work wickedness, and some people can curse them
and their lineage. And because you are the son of your father, maybe your
father did something bad against somebody and the person cursed your father and
his children.
It
can affect you. And sometimes maybe your family members have done something, so
they cursed the whole family — that “this family there…” I have seen many
families where some are witches, some are cursed people, they are sick, they
cannot cross certain boundaries, they are shattered by powers. These are curses
operating.
So,
child of God, the wickedness of your family members — maybe they served idols,
maybe they killed people, maybe they served demons, maybe they sold human beings, maybe they did some wicked, wicked activity — and because
of their wickedness, they made a covenant with demons, with evil spirits, with
powers.
And
it has ascended back into the bloodline. And because you’re part of the
bloodline, these demons have the legal ground to access you. You see that? You
have to know these things.
These
are biblical keys out there. These are revelational keys. You can’t say, “I’m a
child of God, so no.” You have to deal with the legalities. You have to know
the laws of warfare.
You
have to know the keys of warfare. You have to know the principles of warfare.
Because until you deal with the legal ground of the devil, the devil will still
fight. He will still enter.
So
you have to know — I’ll teach you how to break out from this thing. So, child
of God, the wickedness of your fathers, your family members, can result in
curses that may be transferred to you.
So
you have to know how to deal with it. I’ll teach you how to deal with it. Also,
I explained about unbroken curses. Unbroken curses — maybe self-imposed curses,
maybe written curses, spoken curses by wicked enemies.
Maybe
it can be bewitchment, it can be divinations, it can be spells. Maybe where you
are living, they are being enchanted. They are being controlled and
manipulated. Are you getting me?
All
these things can be a loophole, or a gateway, or a channel for demons of delay
and stagnation to access your life. Are you getting me? Also, your failure to
deal with satanic dreams can also open the portal for demons to access your
life.
I
think I said that in part one. Anytime you get a bad dream, child of God,
instantly deal with it. When you get a bad dream, there are some things you
have to do.
Every
dream has its prophetic direction, but the best thing is to declare and reject
it through the word of God. For instance, maybe you dream and you see yourself
being shot in a dream by a gun. Maybe you see yourself in the cemetery.
Maybe
you saw yourself in the casket — you are going to be buried. Maybe you saw
yourself in a very dark pit. As soon as you wake up, rebuke the spirit of
death. Declare that “I will not die but live to declare the works of the Lord
in the land of the living.”
If
possible, fast that day and stand on the word of God. So, failure to deal with
your bad dream opens the portal for these wicked demons, because demons want a
legal ground.
They
use the dream world to establish a covenant, to establish a legal ground, to
establish a loophole, to establish a gateway for them to access life. As a
child of God, until you deal with your bad dreams, when you wake up, don’t
sleep on it. Speak the word of God. Reject it. Renounce it. Reject it.
So
if you don’t deal with your bad dreams, child of God, then automatically demons
have the ground to come and access your life. It’s a law in the realm of the
spirit.

So,
another key is that if you constantly live in disobedience — if you constantly
live in disobedience — you open the portal for the spirit of stagnation, delay,
and backwardness to work in your life. Are you getting the master key here?
So
disobedience is a law of the wicked one that gives him the right to access. If
you disobey the word of God, child of God, you are open, because the devil is
an accuser of the brethren.
So
anytime you sin, he accuses you. And upon that sin, he can use that channel to
access you. So if you constantly, continually, willfully, daily, unrepentantly
sin, child of God, you are opening the door.
For
instance, maybe you are doing fornication every day — fornication every day.
You are sinning against your body. The fornication you are doing, the adultery
you are doing, you are opening a portal for demons to access you.
Maybe
you love to lie. You love lying. As you are lying, the spirit of lies begins to
access you. Maybe you are a person who loves to work wickedness.
You
are proud. You are proud all the time. You open the portal. So, child of
God, constant disobedience to the word of God opens the portal.
The
Bible says that the wages of sin is death. And death is a spirit — a demonic
spirit. So if you are always attached to sin, and sin rewards death, sin
attracts death. Sin is a legal ground for the demon.
So
if you constantly disobey, reject, and renounce the word of God, you are open
to familiar spirits. You are open to the spirit of setback. It is there. Are
you getting me?
The
keys are also leaving your comfort zone — it’s out of divine order. I think the
keys are out there. So I’m going to give you the way out. They’re very plain
out here.
So
the way out — how to get out of this key. Number one is that you have to
deploy the blood of Jesus. You see, the blood of Jesus Christ works in a
certain way. Are you getting me?
If
you walk in obedience, if you walk in righteousness, if you walk in purity, the
blood of Jesus Christ automatically speaks for you. Are you getting me?
If
you walk in obedience, if you walk in the light, if you walk in the truth, if
you walk in the gospel — the Bible says, “Seek first the kingdom of God and His
righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.”
I think the book of John talks about how if you walk in the light, the blood speaks. So, child of God, to automatically deploy and employ the blood of Jesus Christ,
you have to know the key of righteousness. So you have to deploy the blood of
Jesus.
Number
two key is that you must have repentance and plead through the blood of Jesus.
You plead through the blood of Jesus — that’s the first master key. You go on
your knees and ask for mercy through the blood. Repentance for yourself through
the blood of Jesus.
Number
two is repentance for your parents or family members through the blood of
Jesus. Maybe your fathers — you stand as a point of contact and you ask for
mercy. You repent on behalf of your parents, your family members.
Maybe
they did something wicked and therefore opened a portal for the wicked one to
access you. So you stand as a point of contact that you are representing them on their behalf.
And
because you are repenting on their behalf, any wickedness, any sin, any legal
ground of the devil, you plead the blood of Jesus. You trace it back to the
10th generation, to Adam and Eve — that you are repenting on their behalf
through the blood.
Plead
for mercy through the blood, that you are forgiven. And as you plead for
forgiveness for their sins and for your sins, child of God, begin to vacate the
spirit of stagnation out of your life. Because when the blood speaks, the blood
destroys.
So
learn to deploy the blood of Jesus. The third key is that you plead for
mercy to break the yoke. You plead for mercy to break the yoke.
Number
four is that you must also do a heartfelt and spirit-led sowing of seed. Are
you getting me? Do a heartfelt sowing — sow a seed into a genuine minister of
God. Do what? Sow a seed into a genuine minister of God.
As
you sow a seed into the life of the minister of God, child of God, the
blessings come. By sowing a seed — a financial seed, a heart seed — to a
prophet of God, a genuine, holy man of God, the altar in his life begins to
also work in your life.
As
you are led by the Spirit of God, sow a seed. And through that seed, let that
man of God, that apostle, that prophet also pray for you.
Through
his prayers, his intercessions, and the altar upon his life, God can deliver
you from the yoke of stagnation and backwardness.
And
also, try to live a consecrated life. Do what? Live a consecrated life. Live a
holy life. Avail yourself as a living sacrifice unto God. It works in that way.
Also,
try to vacate a cursed jurisdiction.
Try
to leave, vacate places — leave accursed areas, communities, churches,
schools.
Any
place that is accursed by the devil, leave that place as you are led by the
Spirit of God.
Live
back at that place, I get.
Also,
you can seek deliverance from genuine men of God.
You
can seek deliverance from genuine men of God or from deliverance ministries
that can help you.
Also,
try to manage your time and manage your mind.
Learn
to manage your time well because if you don’t manage your time, if you’re a
lazy person, you’ll face delays.
Learn
to manage things well.
Also,
be still — live a life of praise, constant praise. Praise God, honor God, be
thankful unto God.
At
midnight, rise up and praise God, honor God, worship God, praise God.
As
you live a life of continual praises, a life of continual worship, being
thankful to God for what He has done for you, what He did for you, and what
He’s about to do for you —
As
you thank God, you’ll see that in the realm of the Spirit, God begins to bless
you to oppose your enemies.
So,
child of God, live a life of praise, worship, and honor to God.
Also,
I said that immediately reject, renounce, and revert evil dreams.
So when you get bad dreams, immediately reject them, renounce them, revert them — reject and renounce every evil dream.
Sometimes, you have to give directions. I’ll teach you those things.
Also,
if you get good dreams too, you have to take some directions — declare for its
manifestation to come to pass.
But
there are some things you have to do to enforce it.
Also,
you have to pray judgmental prayers on certain unrepentant enemies.
Are
you getting me? There are some prayers you have to pray — judgmental prayers.
You
see, some enemies will never repent. There are some wicked entities who will
never repent until they receive God’s judgment.
So,
evoke judgment prayers. I mean, judgmental prayers on your enemies and upon
unrepentant witches.
The
Bible says that thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
So,
you see that there are some witches who have divinely covenanted that until
they see you dead, they are not done.
These
are wicked powers, these are witches. They have not started to repent.
So,
you too must evoke God’s judgment upon these people.
You
can pray using Psalm 94:1–2 — it’s a very powerful judgmental prayer.
You
can declare and pray using Psalm 94:1–2.
You
can also pray using 2 Thessalonians 1:6–8. God will contend with those who
contend with you.
Also,
declare this prayer as well.
There’s
a key here in Acts 12:1–24, when Herod was struck by the angel of God.
Sometimes,
God must strike certain enemies.
So,
see Acts 12:1–24. Also Deuteronomy 32:41 — these are judgmental prayers that
you can invoke on enemies.
Deuteronomy
32:41 and also Ezekiel 25:17 — I’m giving you judgmental prayers to pray on
unrepentant enemies, wicked witches, and wizards.
Use
Ezekiel 25:17, Psalm 99:8, and Isaiah 66:16.
You
can also use Nahum 1:12, Isaiah 35:4, and Psalm 105:26–37.
Psalm
105:26–37 — these are powerful prayers.
You
can also pray biblical deliverance prayers against the spirit of setback, that
God should deliver you.
When
you pray biblically, God must honor His word.
So,
you can also pray these prayers. These are prayers of deliverance.
Maybe
in your chambers, you find a prayer room, a prayer camp, or a prayer garden.
Maybe
you find a place where you can seek the face of God and pray in your fasting to
read.
So,
in your chambers, you can pray for self-deliverance.
Pray
using the scriptures — it’s very powerful, and it works.
Philippians
1:6 — you can pray using Philippians 1:6.
This
is self-deliverance for God to have mercy upon you and deliver you.
As
you pray the scriptures, God will have mercy; He will deliver you.
God
will honor His word — the word of God will never fall to the ground empty.
No,
it will accomplish whatever it’s said to do.
So,
pray in Philippians 1:6. You can pray using 1 Kings 18:36–40, Ephesians 1:17,
Exodus 23:25–27.
You
can also use Psalm 24:7–9 and Psalm 102:13.
Psalm
102:13, Psalm 38:21–22, Psalm 40:13, Psalm 70:1, and Psalm 71:12.
Also,
Psalm 141:1, Psalm 126:6, Psalm 31:2, Psalm 143:7, Psalm 90:14, Habakkuk 2:3,
and 2 Samuel 22:17.
Are
you getting me?
Deuteronomy
1:6–7, Isaiah 43:1, 19, Isaiah 8:10, Psalm 50:3, Isaiah 48:1, Isaiah 46:1,
Isaiah 14:4, and Isaiah 65:4.
You
can also use Proverbs 4:18 and Exodus 23:25.
These
are very powerful scriptures for self-deliverance — God will deliver you.
You
can also command the elements — declare as led by the Spirit.
I
think it’s enough. This is enough for you.
There

Child
of God, if you have prayed after me this day, you are delivered, you are set
free, you are covered by the blood of Jesus.
You
are a child of God.
I
encourage you to find a Bible-believing church — a church that is based on the
Word of God, that has fasting, prayer, and deliverance sessions.
Connect
with them and become a blessing.
