24 Ways to discern genuinely born-again Christian believers | How to detect Believers in Christ Jesus |- 4

I have observed in my spiritual life that the Holy Spirit reveals His plans and the enemy's plans to me because of my daily sanctification (holiness, righteousness, and purity of life). The grace of God empowers me to be faithful in my Christian life, and it is helping me uncover the plans of God for my life, family, and friends.

I’m grateful to the Lord because He does not hide anything from me. I have also realized that the devil and his cohorts are master destroyers. They can use the little sins (transgressions, iniquities, trespasses) and invisible sins to limit the blessings of God upon our life.

The holy spiritual forces do not recognize people who hold grudges, bitterness, and unforgiveness in the spiritual realm. That is what the Holy Spirit revealed to me in the realms of the Spirit.

Bitter people are often seen as weak and blind in the spiritual realm. These people have no significance in the spiritual realm. If you are a bitter person, repent because it lowers your rank in the realms of the Spirit.

I am writing from some of my spiritual experiences. If you want to activate your spiritual senses for divine encounters, read my article on how to see visions. In that article, I have enumerated seven unique practical keys you can use to unlock the spiritual realm.

If you enforce those wisdom keys, the veils limiting your spiritual senses will loosen, allowing you to experience the spiritual realm. One thing that puts me off in the Spirit is gospel preachers who teach without the power of the Holy Spirit.

I become depressed when I listen to preachers who only teach the Word of God literally. My spirit becomes weak when listening to carnal preachers. However, I feel empowered in the Spirit when listening to gospel ministers full of the Holy Spirit.

Their words rekindle my spirit and strengthen my soul to pursue the kingdom's work. John the Baptist was one of the greatest prophets that walked on earth. Although he did not perform any miracle, Christ Jesus recognized him as one of the most outstanding leaders in the kingdom of God.

John the Baptist preached repentance and baptized people in the river. His words could cut through the hearts of kings and queens because he was full of the Holy Spirit. His message made people cry for mercy because he knew the Holy Spirit.

Be like Christ Jesus because he preached with the power of the Holy Spirit. Imagine Christ Jesus preaching to thousands of people with no microphone and speakers, yet they responded to his message.

This should let you understand the power and charisma of Christ Jesus during his ministry on earth. As Christian believers, we are supposed to walk on the path of Christ Jesus. In my previous article, I shared some biblical keys you can use to detect genuine Christian believers.

Check them out if you have not read them. In this article, I will share five biblical keys to detecting true Christian believers. As a Christian believer, occasionally examine yourself in the faith because a lack of self-examination opens the portal for the enemy to take advantage of you.

I occasionally examine my Christian life to see whether I am in the faith because I don’t want to miss heaven. Secondly, I don’t want the enemy to hijack my blessings. As I stated, you can use the wisdom keys in this article to examine yourself in the faith.

Do not be judgmental when you see people claiming to be Christian believers living in sin because men are naturally weak. We were born in sin, and in sin did our parents conceive and train us.

Even our parents and guardians are sinners in disguise. We need the grace and mercies of God to live in the holiness of the trinity. Do not put on the garment of self-righteousness if the Holy Spirit has granted you the grace to live faithfully.

In the body of Christ Jesus, we have types of vessels. Check out my series of articles for more profound revelations. I have listed forty-five types of Christian believers. Read them to grow in the knowledge of Christ.

Time is resourceful. Roll with me as I will share five biblical wisdom keys to examine yourself in the faith. You can also use these wisdom keys to detect the wolves in sheep's clothing and genuine believers in the body of Christ.

When you detect a wolf in sheep's clothing, intercede for the vessel. Do not point accusing hands or slander wolves in sheep’s clothing with your tongue because there are some spiritual dangers. If you can teach the baby vessel or false vessel claiming to be a Christian believer the Word of God, you will receive an eternal reward in the Celestial City.

Become a blessing by sharingthe link to this article because the wisdom keys in this article can save a soul. Genuine Christian believers do not accuse innocent people. They help people to climb the mountain of the Lord.

1. The Holy Spirit leads genuine Christian believers.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Romans 8:14 KJV

In his letters to the church in Rome, Apostle Paul writes that Spirit-led people are children of God. The Holy Spirit cannot lead you without his indwelling seed in your heart. Although some unbelievers hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, they rarely submit to his leadership.

True Christian believers allow the Holy Spirit to guide, lead, teach and assist them. Without humility, the Holy Spirit cannot lead you. It takes people full of the Word (Holy Bible) to submit to the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

It takes a broken spirit and contrite heart to follow the voice of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit speaks to us in several ways. If you are born again, you do not struggle to obey the commands of the Holy Spirit.

If you are born again, you will find it pleasurable to obey the voice of the Holy Spirit because it leads to the glory of God. I have laid down some profound revelations about the Christian believer and the Holy Spirit in my series of books; check them out for more profound revelations.

Some people are led by their emotions, desires, evil spirits, friends, families, and intellectual mindset, but genuine Christian believers go beyond these circles. Real Christian believers operate above the five senses. That is what separated genuine Christian believers from unbelievers.

  • Do feelings lead you, or do you always make decisions by your emotions?
  • Do your desires lead you, or do you always make decisions by your desires?
  • Does your intellectual mindset lead you, or do you always make decisions by your intellectual mindset?
  • Do your five senses lead you, or do you always make decisions by your five senses?

Making decisions by your five senses isn’t evil if you allow the Holy Spirit to adjust it. Your decisions become ungodly when you ignore the influence of the Holy Spirit in the process. Sometimes we make decisions that do not make sense in the natural realm, but it is a direction of the Holy Spirit.

For example, speaking in tongues can make us (Christian believers) look abnormal, but it isn’t insanity. We are led by the Holy Spirit. How will you judge Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah going into battle with singers?

The Ammonites and Moabites might have called Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah insane, but the Spirit of God led them. Have you thought about the Israelites walking around the walls of Jericho to defeat their enemies?

Have you thought about David facing an experienced warrior (Goliath) with a sling and five stones? The Spirit of God led these people. It is good to use your mind but note that genuine Christian believers have another leadership compass.

I call it the faith sense (signals of the Holy Spirit). We (Christian believers) are led by an invisible Spirit called the Holy Spirit. Although the Holy Spirit can manifest in several ways, I cannot boldly declare that I have seen and touched the Holy Spirit with my physical hands.

I believe that the Holy Spirit is near me with all my heart because I feel and sense him. That is an act of faith. I make critical decisions with the conviction that the Holy Spirit is leading me. Analyze the life of Noah; he may have received insults from his family and neighbors because of the decision he took.

He might have gone through a series of depression because of his decision. Noah believed God spoke to him to build the ark. Abraham moved out of his father’s house, not knowing where he was going.

He believed the Spirit of God commanded him. Abraham decided to sacrifice Isaac because he believed the Spirit of God led him. Moses left the palace of Egypt to suffer from the Israelites. He moved in faith to lead the Israelites to the promised land.

Moses believed the Spirit of God led him. Imagine Gideon leading an army of three hundred men to fight numerous enemies. Without the Spirit of God, no one will be willing to risk his life to do unnatural things.

It takes genuine Christian believers to do unimaginable things. Unbelievers will not risk their lives, families, and businesses working for God and his kingdom. Unbelievers will not sacrifice their time, energy, and resources to do things that will bring glory to God.

It takes genuine Christian believers to venture into the unknown areas because the Spirit of God leads them. It takes genuine Christian believers to venture into rural areas and hostile environments to preach salvation to the lost souls.

The Holy Spirit will not direct you to engage in sinful activities. Instead, he will lead you to a place of deliverance. If the Spirit of God leads you, ungodly laws will not have dominion over you. If the Holy Spirit leads you, the captive receives freedom when they encounter you. Does the Holy Spirit lead you?

2. Real Christian believers believe in the trinity and also believe that Christ Jesus came in the flesh.

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

1 John 2:22-23 KJV

Although the word trinity is not found in the Holy Scriptures, we find several scriptures endorsing the trinity (check out these few holy scriptures for more profound revelations, 1 John 5:7-8, Matthew 3:16-17, John 10:30;15:26, Genesis 1:26;3:22).

The trinity explains the unity of the Godhead. The Father, the Son (Christ Jesus), and the Holy Spirit are one. They are separate in duties, yet they are not three. Check out the Athanasian creed for a more profound revelation about the trinity.

Although I do not agree that the catholic faith is the only way to salvation, I agree with the other statement about the trinity. Check out this message by Pastor Myles Munroe on the trinity. He explains in detail about the Godhead.

The trinity does not explain that God is three. It explains the unity of the triune being of God. We (Christian believers) do not serve or worship three Gods. We worship one God in three persons, yet they are not three Gods.

Like the sun, it has light, heat, and energy, yet it is not three suns but one sun. People who reject the trinity (the Heavenly Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit) are not genuine Christian believers. Know these truths.

  • Anyone who rejects Christ Jesus as the Son of God is not born again.
  • Anyone who disbelieves that Christ Jesus walked on earth as a man is not a real Christian believer.
  • Anyone that rejects Jesus as the Christ is not a real Christian believer.

As Apostle John writes, whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ is a liar (unbeliever). People who reject the Heavenly Father and Son (Christ Jesus) are antichrists, but those that accept that the Son (Christ Jesus) and the Heavenly Father that they are one are children of God.

  • Do you believe that Jesus is the Christ?
  • Do you believe in the Heavenly Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit?
  • Do you believe that Christ Jesus walked on earth as a man?
  • Do you believe that Christ Jesus died and rose on the third day?
  • Do you believe that Christ Jesus was born of a Virgin woman called Mary?
  • Do you believe that Christ Jesus is the Son of God?

If yes to these questions, then you are a genuine Christian believer. If not, you are an unbeliever; repent! Meditate on these holy scriptures for more profound revelations.

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

1 John 4:15 KJV

Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

Luke 12:8-9 KJV

3. Supernatural signs follow genuine Christian believers.

these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Mark 16:17-18 KJV

When Christ Jesus resurrected from the dead, He told his disciples that the children of God would cast out evil spirits and speak in tongues. Christ Jesus further stated that true Christians would have special protection.

For example, a real Christian believer can survive a poison if taken ignorantly. Christ Jesus said many things about the children of God in the Holy Scriptures, and I can confirm it in my life. Serpents are dangerous animals, although some of them are not venomous.

The bite of a poisonous snake can lead to death if not treated. In some cases, a venomous snake can bite a Christian believer doing the will of God. God could sustain the Christian believer if the believer did not intentionally tempt the snake.

In the book of Acts, Luke records that a venomous snake bite Apostle Paul on his missionary journey. The unbelievers with Apostle Paul expected him to die from the snake bite, but he survived.

Although Christ Jesus said that when we (Christian believers) take poison, we will not die, it does not mean we should intentionally take poison to test our faith. Doing that can lead to premature death.

Sometimes, you might take a poisonous substance out of ignorance. In such cases, God will keep you. Another key to detecting Christian believers is that we can lay hands on the sick to recover. We can cast out evil spirits from human beings, animals, and objects.

True Christian believers exercise divine authority over unclean spirits. Genuine Christian believers pray in tongues. We have different types of tongues. Check out my book, the language of the Spirit, for more profound revelations. Know these truths.

  • Genuine Christian believers can exercise divine authority over demons.
  • Genuine Christian believers can lay hands on the sick to recover them.
  • Genuine Christian believers have special protection against spiritual and physical enemies.
  • Genuine Christian believers are immune to poisonous substances prepared by enemies.

I remember a poisonous snake biting one of our dogs. The dog was vomiting and defecating blood all day and night. I lay my hand on the dog to receive divine healing by faith. After some days, the dying dog survived.

Unfortunately, I did not realize that a snake bit the older dog in the house because it did not show strong signs of illness. That dog died a few days but the dog I lay my hands on received divine healing.

Child of God, divine healing is real! Exercise faith in the Word! I pray that the Holy Spirit opens your eyes to see the things people use to prepare food in market centers, hotels, and restaurants. Pray over every food before eating because the spiritual implication is mysterious.

If possible, avoid buying food outside. It is by God’s grace that we are alive. If I should publish all the visions the Lord shows me, you will be extremely cautious when buying food. If you are a real child of God, exercise divine power as led by the Holy Spirit because it is your birthright in the kingdom of God. It is unbelievers who cannot exercise authority over demons and God’s creation.

4. Real Christian believers desire water and Holy Ghost baptism.

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Acts 2:41-42 KJV

In the time of John, the Baptist converted people received water baptism as a sign of repentance. However, in the new covenant, we receive water and the Holy Spirit baptism as a sign of new birth.

As we can see in the time of the Apostles, the newly converted people submitted to water and Holy Spirit baptism. One sign to detect a true Christian believer is the desire to receive water and Holy Ghost baptism.

Although some people baptize to prove a point, genuine Christian believers understand the significance of baptism. We are baptized with Christ Jesus unto death. The Holy Spirit kills the Adamic nature and puts Christ Jesus' nature in our hearts through water and Spiritual baptism. Question anyone that claims to be a Christian believer but refuses water and Holy Ghost baptism. Meditate on these Holy Scriptures for more profound revelations.

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Galatians 3:27

there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.

And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

Acts 8:9-13 KJV

And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,

Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.

Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?

Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

Acts 8:26-36 KJV

(See Acts 10, Acts 16:14-15, Acts 16:25-34, Acts 18:1-8, Acts 19:1-12 for more clarification on baptism and the significance of baptism on the true Christian believers)

5. Prophecies of genuine Christian believers come to pass.

this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

Acts 2:16-18 KJV

Dreams and visions are part of life because it is part of human nature. Some dreams emanate from the Holy Spirit, evil spirits, our soul, and the environment. God emphasized through the writings of Prophet Joel that his servants (his children) will prophesy in the last days.

Unlike the olden days, only prophets and people the Spirit of God came upon could prophesy, but it isn’t so in our time. Today, many people claim to be prophets because they can foretell the future.

You must understand the differences because we have spiritual gifts that people can prophesy. We have the prophetic gifts and prophetic office. Get my book, spiritual codes, for more profound revelations.

Also, note that evil spirits can also give prophecies. Real prophecies of God edify the church and warn the sinner from the wrath of God. Any prophecy that challenges the Word of God and brings extreme fear and panic is false.

When the Holy Spirit releases a judgmental prophecy through a vessel, he provides remedies. If you read the scriptures (See Acts 2;16-18), God emphasized that genuine Christian believers will prophesy in the last days.

Prophecies come in different forms. Prophecies can come through preaching, teaching, singing, dreams, visions, trance, prayers, declarations, decrees, and divine revelations. If you are born again, you will not struggle to prophesy because prophecies rest in the heart of God’s children.

I remember I had a vision (prophecy) about Ghana’s election. I didn’t want to publish it because of some reasons. By faith, I published the prophecy, and it came to pass. The Holy Spirit can foretell the future, and He lives in us.

If you are a genuine Christian believer, the Holy Spirit can tell you what will happen next year, month, week, day, hour, minute, and second. Anyone that claims to be a Christian believer but rejects real prophecies from the Holy Spirit is not born again. God has promised us in His Word that His servants (children) will prophesy in the last days.

  • Do you believe in prophecies? Then it is a sign that you are born again.
  • Do you condemn prophecies from the Holy Spirit? Then it is a sign that you are not born again.
  • Do you feel like prophesying? Then it is a sign that the Holy Spirit lives in you.

Start prophesying because it validates your citizenship in God’s kingdom. Prophesy if you are born again.

To be continued…
