The Seven Hidden Treasures Within the Kingdom of God - 1
Introduction
Treasures are uncommon
assets. We don’t give precious things to “unworthy people” because they will devalue
them. Some people see their cars, jet planes, yachts, houses, businesses, mansions,
and money as treasures.
Some people, too, see
their families and relationships as treasures. Someone can value your treasure
as a rag. In the same way, you can also look down on people’s treasures. As we
all know, “beauty rest in the eyes of the beholder.”
Some people prefer
Africans (blacks), while some prefer Americans. Some people prefer Asians,
while others prefer Europeans. Some love to connect with their tribe because
that is what they value.
Treasures are in
categories. Anything you don’t struggle to get will not last long. You will
hardly get gold on the surface of the earth. You have to dig deep into the ground.
Diamonds hide in the land.
Before acquiring the
diamond, you must pass through a process because it is a treasure. Some
countries live in poverty because they don’t know their treasures. Several
African countries have precious assets such as water, gold, diamond, oil,
bauxite, manganese, and numerous natural resources, yet they live in poverty.
Until you identify your
treasures and use it the rightly, you live in poverty. Treasures don’t come to
you. You have to search for it. Sometimes, you can be living with a treasure.
However, because of your ignorance, you abuse it.
Some people miss their treasures
because they are blind. For this reason, I want to share the hidden treasures
within God’s kingdom. Knowing God’s treasures will expand your creativity. It
will empower you to walk and live in advanced wisdom. The ways and thoughts of
God are higher than us.
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is
near:
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts:
and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our
God, for he will abundantly pardon.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your
ways my ways, saith the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways
higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:6-9 KJV
Sometimes, we blame God
because of our ignorance. God can allow us to pass through storms because He
has prepared some treasures for us. This is one reason I am writing this
article to help you uncover the hidden treasures within God’s kingdom. Until
you become born again, you will continue to blame, challenge, and reject God
and the Holy Bible.
…the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for
they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they
are spiritually discerned.
1 Corinthians 2:14 KJV
You need the
Holy Spirit to connect with God’s mind. Don’t be discouraged when you face
challenges because your treasures lie within the storm. Who thought Joseph
could become a prominent leader in Egypt?
Joseph was in slavery. Most of his brothers rejected him. They sold him as a slave. In Egypt, Potiphar’s wife accused him of rape. They sent Joseph to prison with hard labor. In all, God was preparing him.
- Within the treason hid a treasure.
- Within the slavery hid a savior.
- Within the prison hide a prince.
- Within the rejection hid the resource.
- Within the hatred hide the harvest.
- Within the pain hide power.
- Within the gloom hide the glory.
- Within the accusation hide an accomplishment.
- Within the confusion hide a crown.
- Within the darkness hide a destiny.
- Within the pit hide power.
- Within the treason hide a treasure.
Don’t limit God under your
limited knowledge because His ways are unsearchable (see Romans 11:33, Proverbs
25:3, Job 11:7-9). God has prepared treasures for you in the “darkness.” You
need advanced knowledge to detect and receive hidden treasures. Connect with me
as I unveil uncommon treasures within God’s kingdom.
The treasures within the tomb
After the crucifixion of
Christ Jesus, Joseph of Arimathea bought a cave (tomb) for his burial. Most of
Christ Jesus’ disciples might have given up. The Pharisees, Sadducees, Scribes,
Gentiles, Romans, and enemies of Christ Jesus might have concluded the end of
Christ Jesus and his disciples.
However, it was through
the tomb that Christ Jesus dominated sin and Satan. Christ Jesus was silent for
three days and nights. However, Christ Jesus restored our relationship with the
Heavenly Father spiritually.
The pressures of life can
sometimes make you miserable. You might lose a loved one. However, in the plans
of God, He is preparing a glorious treasure for you. Like Christ Jesus, his
death might have destroyed the Apostles' faith.
However, the tomb was a
place of preparation. The tomb was a place of victory. The tomb was a place of
waiting. I don’t know your tomb. You need patience in the tomb’s season. The
enemy might think he has won because you are in the tomb.
The silence of God does
not mean he has forgotten you. The silence of God does not mean he has rejected
you. You are in the tomb’s season. In the tomb’s season, things may look dead.
Physically, hope may be gone.
However, do not give up
on God because it is at this season that He tries your faith. Remember, Christ
Jesus rose on the third day. After the resurrection, he received the victory’s
crown. You cannot receive the treasure (crown) until you pass the tomb test.
Don’t allow the devil to
manipulate you in the tomb’s season. Keep your faith. Stay in the Word (the
Holy Bible). You will not perish in the tomb’s season when you stay in
the Word. Exercise patience, temperance, and faith in the tomb’s season. When
the season of the tomb ends, you will receive the treasure (glory, joy, peace,
healing, and power).
The treasures within the environment
Apostle Peter loved
Christ Jesus to the extent that he did not want Him to die. However, Christ Jesus
rebuked Peter (see Mark 8:33). Christ Jesus had to enter Jerusalem because that
was the place of the assignment.
Christ Jesus knew people
would abuse him in Jerusalem. However, he decided to enter that land. Sometimes
loved ones can become your
enemies. Your loved one’s desire to be with you. They may not want to
see you struggle.
However, in the plans of
God, you must enter your Jerusalem (arena of betrayal, false love, abuse, and
suffering). Christ Jesus stated that we cannot be his disciples if we love our
parents, siblings, friends, and ourselves more than him.
And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto
them,
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and
wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he
cannot be my disciple.
Luke 14:25-26 KJV
Hating your family,
friends, and self does not mean you should become enemies. That’s not the
command of Christ Jesus. Christ Jesus says that our love for him must exceed our
love for self and others. We must prioritize Christ Jesus above our family. We
must seek God first before worldly things.
…seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his
righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:33 KJV
Our focus must be on
Christ Jesus and his kingdom. If you cannot sacrifice your comfort zone for things
of God, you cannot get eternal treasure. You cannot receive the treasure until
you enter Jerusalem.
Jerusalem might be
unpleasant. However, that’s your glorious arena. The people might reject, hate,
and abuse you. The environment might be hostile. However, that’s where God has
hidden your treasure.
Suffering will not kill
you. God will not allow you to pass through a pain you cannot bear (see 1
Corinthians 10:13). He knows your strength. At the initial stage, the people in
Jerusalem will pretend to like and love you.
However, the opposition will
sink in when the treasure begins to feature. What would have happened if Christ
Jesus forsook Jerusalem and stayed in his comfort zone? Do not allow your
comfort zone to steal your treasure.
Your Jerusalem is a
temporal place. Endure the hostility of the place and people. You will receive
the treasure at the appointed time. Christ Jesus accepted the abuse in
Jerusalem because of the treasure (eternal glory). Why are you rejecting your
Jerusalem? Your treasure is in Jerusalem! Enter Jerusalem with faith!
The treasures within the assignment
At the cross, Christ
Jesus became vulnerable. His enemies challenged him to prove himself. Christ
Jesus could have commanded angels to prove himself. He could do whatever the
religious unbelievers demanded.
However, it wasn’t the
will of the Heavenly Father. The Heavenly Father forsook Christ Jesus because
of our sins. On the cross, Christ Jesus beared our iniquities. Most of his
disciples left him on the cross.
However, the cross
carried a crown. Christ Jesus carried our curses, punishment, and wickedness on
the cross. He had to embrace the shame of the cross because the cross hides the
crown. Sometimes, God allows our loved ones to reject us.
He allows the enemy to
challenge us. It is at this stage that God tests your love and loyalty. What
would have happened if Christ Jesus had responded to the challenge of religious
unbelievers? Christ Jesus had to bear the mockery of sinners because of the
glory.
You cannot receive the
crown (treasure) of power until you endure the cross (ridicule, shame, gossip,
slander, accusation, and abuse). Your enemies will challenge you. People will
mock you. Your closest friends and family will reject you this season.
Sinners will condemn and
criticize you on the cross. Don’t prove yourself. Let God deal with them in
that season. When you endure the pain on the cross, you will receive the crown
(treasures) of life. Meditate on this Holy Scripture for more profound
revelations.
And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my
disciple.
Luke 14:27 KJV
The treasures within the people
Judas Iscariot carried
the money basket. He was the treasurer of Christ Jesus. However, he betrayed
and sold Christ Jesus. You don’t have to put all your trust in people because
they can deny you.
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man,
that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he
spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Numbers 23:19 KJV
Your enemy might think he
is destroying you. However, God can use that channel to lift you. If God has
called you and you love him from your heart, he will use the enemy's works to uplift
you.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love
God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28 KJV
If the devil knew the
death of Christ Jesus would end his deception and dominion, he would not have
used the religious unbelievers and Judas Iscariot to destroy Christ Jesus. Do
not lose faith because your trusted friend betrayed you (meditate on Psalm
27:10, Hebrews 13:5).
Family and friends
betraying you is a channel of upliftment. The fact that your trusted friend or
family denied you does not mean Christ Jesus has rejected you. Apostle Peter
denied and cursed that he never knew Christ Jesus.
And they that had laid hold on Jesus led him away to Caiaphas
the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.
But Peter followed him afar off unto the high priest's palace, and went
in, and sat with the servants, to see the end.
Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false
witness against Jesus, to put him to death;
But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found
they none. At the last came two false witnesses,
And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of
God, and to build it in three days.
And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing?
what is it which these witness against thee?
But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto
him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the
Christ, the Son of God.
Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you,
Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and
coming in the clouds of heaven.
Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy;
what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his
blasphemy.
What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.
Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him
with the palms of their hands,
Saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee?
Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him,
saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee.
But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou
sayest.
And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him,
and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of
Nazareth.
And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man.
And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to
Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee.
Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man.
And immediately the cock crew.
And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the
cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.
Matthew 26:57-75 KJV
Peter denied Christ Jesus
in his face. There are some treasures your friends and family cannot handle.
You are the only one to carry that treasure. This is one reason your loved one
rejects you. It’s not that they hate you from their heart.
It’s because they cannot
take that glory from you. That’s why they rejected you. Christ Jesus had to
face the persecution alone because he deserved that glory (treasure). People
are withdrawing from you because they cannot share the treasures God has
prepared for you.
Anytime your loved one
rejects you when you need him most, conclude that you alone deserve that glory.
While the religious unbelievers abused Christ Jesus, Peter was watching. Your
loved ones watching you pass through the abuse is a sign that they don’t have a
share in your glory (treasure).
What God has prepared for
you is so glorious that he will not allow anyone to share it with you. Even if
some people partake in your glory, it’s just a tiny percentage. Endure the
shame alone because within the abuse, rejection, and betrayal rest the treasure
(healing, prosperity, power, and peace).
The treasures within the womb
Mary was a virgin when
she became pregnant. Naturally, a woman cannot become pregnant without the seed
of a man. However, Mary’s case was different. Joseph had to accept the
pregnancy of Mary by faith.
The Holy Bible records
that Joseph was a just man. This mean Joseph feared God. Joseph was a righteous
man. He hated sin and loved God. However, Joseph doubted the pregnancy of Mary.
Joseph contemplated. How can a virgin become pregnant without the seed of a
man?
Joseph, a just man,
decided to separate from Mary secretly (wisely and safely). He did not want to
disgrace Mary. However, angel Gabriel appeared to Joseph in a dream and
explained the pregnancy to him.
Now, let’s dive into Mary’s
mind. When Joseph decided to reject Mary’s pregnancy, Mary could have aborted
Jesus because she feared people would call her a harlot if Joseph left him. However,
Mary kept her faith.
Mary knew she carried a
blessing! Maybe you have planned to abort the baby in your womb. You are
conscious of people’s gossip. You fear persecution and rejection. Perhaps, the
man who impregnated you rejected the baby in the womb.
I have good news for you! Do not abort the baby! That baby is your treasure (a replica of Christ Jesus). What would have happened if Mary had aborted Christ Jesus? Don’t abort your savior!
- Within the womb rest the warrior!
- Within the womb rest the winner.
- Within the womb rest the president.
- Within the womb rest the prophet.
- Within the womb rest the leader.
- Within the womb rest the light.
Don’t succumb to the
gossip, insults, and destructive criticism of your loved ones, enemies, and
family. Keep the pregnancy! The “unwanted child” in your womb is your treasure!
The child is bringing you glory!
Don’t allow the devil to
manipulate you! Even if the world rejects the child, keep the child (the
treasure). The treasure is a work in progress. The child might look vulnerable.
Exercise patience and take care of the treasure.
Take good care of the
pregnancy (the treasure). Give birth to the child (the treasure) in the right
manner. Care for the child with all your resources because “he is the light of the
world.” Don’t reject the child because everyone has denied him.
You need the child. Your
country needs the child. The world needs the child (the treasure). You will be
surprised that the child will grow into a giant tree. On this tree, you and the
world will enjoy the fruits. Are you planning to abort the treasure? Repent!
