Loved one in Christ
Jesus, I believe you are growing in the strength of the Lord. This is lesson
five on my teachings, divine principles of spiritual warfare. I explained in
the previous lessons on the power of worship and praises, the power of the
blood, the essence of one’s salvation and more spiritual truths to help
Christians become wise and strategic is spiritual warfare.
In this article, I will
share one of the most powerful secrets you must enforce in spiritual warfare. I
apply this divine principle anytime I am in the mood of spiritual warfare.
Spiritual warfare is not only limited to war.
Spiritual warfare is a
broad subject that cuts across one’s deliverance, breakthrough, victory and
many aspects of life. The devil has nothing new to offer. Your assignment is to
study his strategy and know his mindset.
If you know the devil's
systems and his minions, you will always triumph over every battle. Remember,
we (Christians) battle from the victory side because Christ Jesus has won the war.
Our responsibility is to exercise divine authority in the name of Jesus.
Fighting the enemy on
his grounds is suicidal because he knows how to position himself to steal, kill
and destroy. It is like a monkey or tiger fighting the crocodile in the river.
Such a monkey or tiger lives at the crocodile mercies because the river is the crocodile
domain.
It doesn’t matter how
strong the tiger or the monkey is, as far it fights the crocodile in the river,
it will lose because the tiger will not get the required gravity to fight the crocodile.
That is how some Christians are fighting with the enemy.

The Virtue of faith in Spiritual Warfare
Paul the Apostle
declares in the Holy Scriptures that, we walk by faith, not by sight. This
means it takes the virtue of faith to win in spiritual warfare. Fighting the
devil and his minions in the five senses' realms is dangerous and suicidal because
that is the ground of the devil and his minions.
This is one reason
people commit suicide when they become depressed, confused, hopeless, bankrupt,
lose a loved one, and enter huge debts. When you always allow your five senses
to control you in the season of affliction, pain, depression and pain, you have
given the enemy the power to dominate.
Take the devil to a
higher realm as Apostle Paul wrote in the Holy Scriptures, we walk by faith,
not by sight. One thing you must know about the devil is that he is the king of
darkness. The devil and his minions operate in the realm of darkness.
The moment you enter
the realm of darkness, you become a prisoner in the enemy’s kingdom. Darkness
creates an atmosphere of pain, corruption, disaster, war, abuse, sickness,
depression and any evil you can think of.
The best way to
dominate the devil and his minions in the spiritual realm is to take the shield
of faith because faith covers your heart and uplifts your spirit and soul to the
arena of Christ Jesus. When you enter the arena of faith, the arrows of the
enemy becomes ineffective.
Whiles the unbelievers
are complaining and making bad confessions, keep confessing the Word of
God. A time comes in our life; we become
depressed but don’t allow our five senses to drive us to make a destructive
decision. Switch to the Holy Spirit frequency because that is the safest
atmosphere.
The Power of Tongues in Spiritual Warfare
As you pray in tongues,
you are battling the devil with great weapons. The devil will not understand
your prayers because those words are mysterious to him. Your prayers will
become like a blazing fire followed by smoke in the spiritual realm. As you
pray in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit will be taking responsibility in the
spiritual realm.
The archangels of God will
rise to oppose any forces of darkness, distracting the plans of God for your
life. Whiles, you are praying in tongues, it may not make sense to you within
your five senses. Some people (unbelievers, natural men and women) may think
you are insane when praying in tongues, don’t limit yourself to please them in
their limited knowledge.
...the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit
of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because
they are spiritually discerned."

Keep praying in
tongues; you will see the power of God taking place. Sometimes, I feel in my
spirit to search for a secret place to pray in the Spirit (tongues) because I
can discern some spiritual transactions are taking place.
I need to take charge
in the spirit by praying in the Spirit. I remember one midnight, the Holy
Spirit woke me up to pray. Although I was tired that night, I stood on my knees
and prayed in tongues.
As I began praying in
tongues in the middle of the night, I felt some transaction taking place in the
natural realm. The witches in the neighbourhood pretended singing whiles some
women pretended to sweep at that hour.
As I prayed in tongues
at that hour, the Lord destroyed all their plans. Child of God, praying in
tongues is a great missile in the spiritual realm. The more you pray in
tongues, the Holy Spirit takes the lead in the Spirit and face the stronger
enemies.
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we
know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh
intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind
of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the
will of God.
Romans 8:26-27 KJV
The Holy Spirit navigates
the warfare systems because He will be the one in command whiles you are
praying in tongues. Paul the Apostle wrote to the church in Corinth that he
prayed in tongues more than all the brethren (See 1 Corinthians 14:18).
This should let you
understand that Paul knew the power of tongue-speaking. Praying in tongues creates a bright light in our
jurisdiction. Every form of darkness dominating our jurisdiction vacates
because the Holy Spirit comes to dominate the place.
- If you feel heavy and burdensome in the Spirit, pray in tongues.
- If you feel depressed, pray in tongues.
- If you feel hopeless, pray in tongues.
- If you feel lonely and alone, pray in tongues.
- If you feel like giving up on Christ Jesus, pray in tongues.
- If you feel like giving up in life, pray in tongues.
- If you feel abused in any form, pray in tongues.
- If you feel a sense of spiritual attack, pray in tongues.
- If you sense any form of injustice in your life, pray in tongues.
- If you feel rejected, pray in tongues.
- If you feel like committing suicide, it is the voice of the devil speaking to your soul, pray in tongues.
- If you feel weak in the spirit, pray in tongues.
- If the attack of the enemy is too heavy in your life, pray in tongues.
- If you want the angelic beings of God to take responsibility in your life and those connected to you, pray in tongues.
- If you want the Holy Spirit to take vengeance for you, pray in the tongues.
Praying in tongues is a
great mystery. A lot of spiritual transaction take place whiles you are praying
in tongues. If you apply the key of faith and pray in tongues often, you will
always triumph in spiritual warfare.
