The Position Of Wrestling And Resting (Series 2)
If you understand the doctrine of grace and faith to some extent, you may think there is no need or room for the ministry of warfare in the body of Christ. At times when you are too carried away with new creature reality, you may miss out on some deep realities of this life that can keep you in bondage for life.
When the scripture says
my people perish for the lack of knowledge in the book of Hosea 4 vs. 6, he was
not talking about the knowledge of God alone; you can know God and yet die in
poverty if you don't understand some mysteries about this life.
The real wise men are
those who have the spiritual capacity to capture the knowledge of the mystery
of Heaven, Earth, and Hell. It will shock you to see in this series the mystery
of hell.
It will shock you to know
that hell is not a location; he is a personality. Hell, himself, was also cast
into the lake of fire. See the book of revelation 20 vs. 14:
14 KJV: And death and
hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
If there is a difference
between hell and lake of fire, and hell was cast into the lake of fire, my
question is, who is hell? It will shock you if I tell you that Satan is not the
greatest man in the kingdom of darkness; Hell has a higher ranking than Satan.
Following this series, it
may shock you if I tell you that iniquity has been existing before the fall of
Satan. Iniquity is also a personality. The Bible says until iniquity was found
in Lucifer (Ezekiel 28:15).
Now, I ask you what is the
origin of iniquity that was found in Lucifer is? Where did the iniquity come
from? Lucifer was an innocent being until a personality called iniquity
approached him, just as serpent came to Eve in the garden, so also iniquity
came to Lucifer in the garden of Eden. Because Lucifer was the first occupant
of the garden of Eden... See Ezekiel 28 vs. 13a.
13 Thou hast been in Eden
the garden of God;
This is the scripture
talking about Lucifer here.
It will shock you to know
that there is a world called the world of iniquity that was in existence before
the fall of Lucifer; James 3 vs. 6 opens the dimension in part. It may shock
you to know that if you don't understand the eternity past, you can't
understand the world we are now.
It may shock you to know
that Adam was not the first occupant of this earth. It may surprise you to know
that God created the face of the Earth in four dimensions; we are in the third
dimension of the earth now, and after the rapture, another new earth will come
down, and Satan will also be loosed again to tempt us in that earth again.
7 And when the thousand
years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to
deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, (Revelation 20 vs. 7-8)
For you to know that
where we are coming from is deep and where we are going to is far, the heaven
we are going to after rapture is not the heaven we came from before the
foundation of this Earth.
The first king of the
occupants of the first earth was Lucifer, the second king of the occupant of
the second earth was Adam, while the third king of the occupants of the third
earth is the last Adam (Jesus) and those who will make it to rapture will be
the occupants of the last earth with our glorified body called the new Earth.
See the scripture:
And I saw a new heaven
and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and
there was no more sea. (Revelation 21 vs 1).
Following this series,
there are many things in my belly that I will open up in this series. So, what
have you known that you think you have known all? I am talking to all these new
creature reality guys, that you have known grace and the finished work of
Christ you think that is all about the mysteries of the kingdom. That is why
many of us cannot give answers to many things that happen on this Earth.
So be humble to learn so
that you can see the mystery behind your predicament by yourself. It is only if
we want to deceive ourselves that we will say all is well. Just know that we
are also men of Faith with Grace understanding, but without understanding the
dimensions of the warfare in the body of Christ, our understanding is not yet
balanced.
You may only know welfare
without knowing warfare, and when that begins, Satan will enter the church and
become a full-time pastor because it takes revelation to know Satan once he
pretends as an angel of light.
By wisdom, you know
welfare, while by revelation, you know warfare. So, learn to be balanced in
your spiritual understanding so that you can communicate the full gospel to the
lives under you.
At times, you may not
need this teaching of warfare yourself, but you need to understand it because
not it is everyone coming your way as a minister of the gospel or spiritual
leader that will be able to minister to with the template of one-dimensional
experience you have and know.
You must be able to
preach deliverance to those captives, the kind of gospel that someone in
poverty need is different from the kind of gospel someone in captivity needs
(Luke 4 vs. 18).
Because the same apostle
Paul we are following who was the custodian of faith and grace got to Ephesians
chapter 6 and began to talk mystery about warfare, telling us that we wrestle
not against flesh and blood. That is, we still need to wrestle.
Even though he told us
that we are seated with Christ in the heavenly place, yet we still wrestle. Even
though the same Paul told us that principalities had been blotted out, and it
has been put to public shame in Colossians 2 vs 14-15. The same Paul came to
Ephesians and told us that we wrestle against principalities.
My question is, was it
not the same principalities he was talking about in the same two scriptures
(i.e., Colossians and Ephesians)? That is why, if you are the type that is good
at taking scripture in isolation and build faith and doctrine on it, you can't
be an effective minister in this our dispensation.
You must be wide in understanding
and deep in knowledge to be able to accommodate and assimilate different
dimensions of the revelational understanding in the body of Christ.
The dispensation and
generation of imbalance gospel had passed away. The dispensation ahead of us is
the dispensation where you can't just catch a revelation of faith and build a
church on it and travel far with it to the top of excellence. That season is
going already.
You can't take a
dimension of the gospel and build a ministry on it and think you can be
relevant in this dispensation. Our fathers in faith did that and succeeded with
it because that was the will of God for their dispensation.
Because our fathers'
dispensation was the dispensation, God used to build the pillar of the church
of Christ. Mountain of Fire is one pillar, Redeem Christian Church of God is
another pillar in the structure of the building of the church of Christ. The same
goes for Living Faith, Christ Embassy, Christ Apostolic Church, and many more.
They are all pillars. So,
what we call denomination in the physical realm are pillars of the church of
Christ in the conference room of immortality. But coming to this our
dispensation, our assignment is not to build a pillar.
God is using us now to
join those pillars together; that is why it will take men with an interdenominational
mindset to achieve this because any man with an interdenominational spirit will
first see the similarities of those pillars before seeing the differences.
It is when you see the
similarities and love the similarities that you can correct the differences
with love. Our assignment is not to flog the differences with anger but to
compare and contrast the similarities and bring it to the church's table to
show ourselves that we are one irrespective of the differences.
You don't need to be
forcing a Deeper Life member to dress like Living Faith members, and you don't
need to be forcing a Christ Embassy member to be praying like Mountain of Fire.
Doing that is a pure manifestation of a lack of seasonal move of God.
Even though some of our
Fathers in faith do not accept one another's doctrine, that does not mean we
their followers should be reasoning the same way and emulate such act because
our General overseers have their individual caucus.
But for us, such an act
and mindset cannot work for us, and thinking we will succeed in the assignment
given to us might be an impossibility. Their assignment is different from ours.
We have learned to discover that the grace we can get in Christ embassy we may
not get in Living faith or RCCG because you can't limit God's dimension to the
pattern of your denomination alone.
So, those God is raising
in this dispensation do not first study every denomination's error, but they
first study the grace in every denomination and what that Grace stands for in
the throne room of the Trinity.
Then, our assignment is
to begin to use wisdom to correct the difference and use love to embrace the
similarities of every denomination who stands as a pillar of the church of
Christ. And permit me to say this, if you know you don't have the mandate and
authority to correct the errors of the father's doctrine, please keep quiet and
be praying for them.
Because it takes
revolutionist anointing sponsored by the Apostolic mantle to do that. Don't
just think you can go to social media and criticize the fathers in the faith.
There are a calling and Grace for that, don't put yourself under a curse if you
don't have the grace, don't be like Uzzah, who wanted to help God carry the ark
when he saw the ark falling (2 Sam 6:6-7).
That the church is
falling does not mean anyone can rush to carry the church back; you must be
called for the assignment. Now how do we get to this point?
Just trying to establish
the fact that warfare prayer is a doctrine of the new testament, that the
curriculum given to your denomination by God does not capture it does not mean
such dimension is an error. Because no matter how great your General overseer
is, he only knows in part.
So, to be an effective
minister in this dispensation, you must understand the scripture's balancing. Don't
say you are a follower of Paul's epistle. Because the same Paul that said the
battle is over in his letter to one church came to another church and told them
that the weapon of our warfare is not carnal, he said to another church again
to put on the whole armor of God.
But I guess if the battle
is over, I suppose we should put off the whole armor and not put on the whole
armor again, because from my level of understanding, once a soldier or a
warrior conquers all his enemies, the next thing is to drop all weapons of war
and begin to rest.
But for us, the opposite
is the case; truly, he told us that we are resting in Christ's finished work.
But he also told us again that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but
against principalities, powers, wicked rulers in the heavenly places, and many
more (Eph 6:11-12).
- But if those enemies mentioned have been defeated, why wrestling again?
- What is the position of wrestling, and what is the position of resting?
- So, which one should we believe?
Because these are the
confusions in the body of Christ caused by many people, some believe our
position is to be wrestling, while some said our position is to be resting. Not
that the point we are trying to establish is bad, but the error of many
denominations is that in the course of establishing a dimension of truth, we
castigate other dimensions and speak evil of it.
You see a faith minister
castigating other dimensions of truth, thinking he is the only one right while
everyone else is wrong. Such a mindset is a spirit of disunity, and we are not
going to allow such a spirit to stand in this dispensation.
Because what I saw in the
spirit about the assignment of this dispensation is to ensure we blow a trumpet
of the unity of the faith.
See... Ephesians 4 vs
12-13 (KJV):
11: And he gave some,
apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and
teachers;
12: For the perfecting of
the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of
Christ:
This verse 12 was the
assignment of the dispensation and generation ahead of us, which is our
Fathers' generation. When the mantle rested upon this dispensation, there is a shift
of the assignment from verse 12 to fulfill part of verse 13:
Till we all come in the
unity of the faith, and the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto
the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
From what I saw in the
spirit, prophetically, the next generation will take the mantle from us and
fulfill the ending part of verse 13.
Which is ..unto the
measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: vs 13c.
I must confess to you the
revival of the next generation will silence the government; the government will
surrender to the church back because the church is already manifesting the
measure of the status of Christ's fullness.
So, Christ has given us
apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher in this dispensation not to
tear the body of Christ or scatter the body of Christ, but to establish a
template that will lead to a system where we can come into the unity of the faith.
Our assignment is to
bring the church's pillars to the unity of the faith because there is a serious
division of the faith; I am of Paul, and you are of Apollo is the kind of
Christianity handed over to us. It was not that it was an error from our
fathers, but such will surely happen in establishing their assignment.
If they try to create
balance the way we are doing now, they will not fulfill their assignment. So,
individual manifestation is the way they are wired. But the eyes of our
understanding have opened now, to see that Paul only planted, while Apollo
watered (1 Corinthians 3:6).
That is, your
denomination only planted, while my denomination only watered, but the focus of
the assignment is one which is to fight against the kingdom of darkness and
establish the kingdom of Christ. And since that is the assignment, God brings
the increase.
If all you listen to is
Pauline teaching (grace message), you may not grow because Paul is only
planted, so your ministry will only be a plant. You need another kind of message
like that of Apollo's message to water it.
Our father received the
fivefold ministry individually and fulfilled Ephesians 4 verse 12 in our lives,
and they will receive the crown of their labour for that in heaven.
11: And he gave some,
apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and
teachers;
12: For the perfecting of
the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of
Christ (Eph 4:11-12).
Their teachings produce
the perfection of we the saints and prepare us for ministry and also edify us
in the body of Christ, but in the course of doing that, it led to the disunity
of the faith.
And that is what opens the door for the assignment of this dispensation to continue the assignment and ensure the beginning of verse 13 is fulfilled before we die so that we can hand over a church with the Unity of the faith to the generation coming as they fulfill the last-minute assignment.
