Loved one in Christ Jesus I believe you are growing in the strength of the Lord. This is lesson seven on my teachings, the top fifteen things that destroy the purpose and life of mankind. Kindly read the previous lessons for a more profound revelation.
In this lesson, I will share with you one of the invisible devices the kingdom of darkness uses to limit the purpose of men. I call this weapon the spirit and mindset of fear.
The Weapon of Fear
Let me unveil to you some truths about fear.
- Fear is one of the commonest weapon the devil and his minions use to limit the purpose of humankind.
- Anytime the spirit of fear attacks, you feel threaten and vulnerable.
- Fear makes us act strangely.
- Fear is one of the ultimate weapons the enemy uses to break our spiritual armour.
- Fear makes us act beyond our human strength.
- Fear makes us believe in fallacies.
- Fear destroys our hope.
- Fear buries our gifts, potentials, and creativity.
- Fear gives the enemy invisible power and authority over an individual.
- Fear makes our problems bigger than we can perceive.
- Fear conquers our sense of direction and places a stumbling block in our journey of life.
- Fear makes us hopeless and deficient in the sight of God.
- Fear limits God's help in our life.
- Fear destroys the path of God for our lives.
- Fear validates the deceptions and delusion of the enemy and makes an individual conform to his systems.
- Fear opens the portal for wicked spirits to rule our environment.
- Fear captures the star and the glory of the weak.
- Fear empowers the wicked to rule with evil powers, tyranny, and corruption.
- Fear summons the spirit of death and grave to control a jurisdiction.
- Fear blinds our spiritual eyes and silence our spiritual ears, not to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit.
- Fear buries our spiritual gifts and revives the voice of the enemy in our lives.
I hope these few revelations will challenge you to dominate the spirit of fear. The enemy can never overcome you until he defeats you with the spirit of fear.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7 KJV
Apostle Paul declares that God has not given us the spirit of fear. This means fear is not from God, and it is an evil spirit. This fear limits our faith and pushes us to doubt the promises of God. Any fear that draws you away from God is from the devil.
The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom (See Proverbs 9:10). The fear of God makes us reverence God. Any fear that makes you fearful of life is not from the Holy Spirit. Apostle Paul further states that God has given us the spirit of love, power, and a sound mind.
This means it takes love, power, and faith to break the spirit of fear. Fear destroys our faith in God and His Word. Anytime you walk in fear, you open yourself to demonic attacks. The spirit of fear makes you walk in the counsels of the enemy. It makes you doubt your gifts. Fear authorizes the devil and his minions to oppress, suppress, depress, and possess you.
The spirit fear opens the portal for other wicked demons to have access to your life. The devil can never manipulate or attack you until he destroys your faith. Before the devil can ruin your faith, he sends the spirit of fear to break your shield of faith in the spiritual realm. After breaking your shield of faith, he dismantles your spiritual armour and makes you his prisoner.

As I said, fear limits the purpose of mankind. If you are fearful of people’s opinions, you will never come out with your creative ideas. The fear of man puts you under bondage. Anytime you desire to please all men, you subject your spirit and soul to the curses and limitations of the adversary.
Get me right, I am not saying you shouldn’t obey leadership. The Bible commands all men to obey godly leaders because God has set them as the authority figures (See 1 Peter 2:13-14, Hebrews 13:7, and Romans 13). When you try to please all men, you place yourself under bondage. The truth is, you cannot please all men.
The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the
LORD shall be safe.
Proverbs 29:25 KJV
Trying to please all men traps you in an invisible cage. It will ensnare you in the prison of the enemy. Get this truth, no matter the level of your innocence, some people will never like you. Even Jesus Christ, who lived a sinless life, had enemies.
How much us who make unconscious errors in life. Accept that you cannot please all men. Most of the Pharisees, Chief Priests, Sadducees, Sanhedrin’s, and the religious people hated Jesus Christ when He walked on earth as a man.
Some Pharisees saw the evidence that Jesus was the Christ, but they decided they will never accept the fact, evidence, miracles, prophecies, and the truth about Jesus Christ. The unsaved religious people falsely accused Jesus and handed him to the Romans to crucify Him. That is how some people have decided to deal with you. No matter the evidence you provide on earth, they have decided they will never accept or love you.
Some people will always criticize you because that is their vow. Some will humiliate and look down on you. Others will mock and slander you. Some people will allow demons to use them to distract your purpose, don't allow them. Fight the invisible enemy on your knees. Jesus Christ rebuked the voice of the devil when the devil spoke through Peter. Imitate Jesus Christ.
Don’t allow the insults, criticism, accusations, and the jealousy of the people to stop you from pursuing the purpose God has prepared for you. Some people can help you become stronger in the Lord. The more they fight you, the greater you draw closer to the Holy Spirit. The criticism of some enemies may be genuine, analyze their criticism, and use it to build your weakness.
We live in an imperfect world. Everybody walks and lives with his philosophy, culture, and principles. Your principles will not work with some people’s principles. God did not call you to help everybody. The people God chose for you will find you, love you, and support you, so don't give up!
Don’t imitate everybody and become a slave. Be the person God created and formed you to be and move on in life. In the Holy Bible, God called Paul to preach to the gentiles and Peter to preach to the Jews. God is preparing you for some special people, so don’t try to please everybody.
Never allow the opinions of everybody to limit you. Be decisive and learn from the one God commands you to follow. Don’t allow the spirit of fear to block you from pursuing your purpose. Don’t allow the fear of your loved ones and enemies to limit your purpose in life.
Fight the good fight of faith. Don’t fight unnecessary battles. There are some battles you must not respond to because it will drain your valuable energy and distract your focus, productivity, and creativity. If you allow the spirit of fear dominating you, you limit the influence of the Holy Spirit in your life.
Never allow the opinions of everybody to dominate the wisdom of the Word embedded in your spirit and soul. Build a relationship with the Holy Spirit. The Word of God is above every man’s counsel. Reject any counsel that challenges the Word (Holy Bible). It is better to be on the side of God and be rejected by men than to be on the side of men and be rejected by God.
Don’t allow the media, internet, fashion, and pleasures of the world to destroy your purpose. The fact that a fashion or a piece of information is trending does not mean that you should also follow the trend. Sometimes at the workplace, your co-workers might force you to do something that goes against the Word of God. Don’t allow the spirit of fear and the fear of man to dominate you. When you allow fear dominating you, you may perish with them.
Wherever you find yourself, don’t allow the ungodly decisions of the unbelievers overrule God's Word in your heart. The Word (Holy Bible) is our foundation. God has exalted His Word above His name (See Psalm 138:2). Stand on the Word because everything will pass away, but the Word shall never depart (See Matthew 24:35).
When you become lenient to hardened sinners, they will use fear to mislead you. When you allow the pressure of the world and the temporal things of the world to dominate you, you open your spirit and soul to the spirit of fear to dominate you.
Stand on the Word of God in all circumstances. Reject any voice that undermines and devalues the Word of God. Value the Word of God above any other man’s word because God’s Word (Holy Bible) will be the criterion for the last judgment.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted
after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many
sorrows.
1 Timothy 6:10 KJV
The spirit of fear can use money, job, cars, houses, your family and other temporal things to destroy your relationship with the Holy Spirit. The devil will always use fame, power, and money to deceive you (See Luke 4:1-13).
Read the lesson one for more wisdom keys. The devil will use the spirit of fear to attack you if you always think and desire these mundane things. The devil will use the unbelievers (blind people) to support you in the path of darkness. Be wise!
The silver and gold belong to God (See Haggai 2:8). Work effectively and efficiently because God has invested gifts, ideas, and energy in you. God can create miracles. Believe, confess, pray, and decree the Word, and the spirit of fear will depart. The devil can use the spirit of death to frighten you. Reject his attacks by declaring Psalm ninety-one, Psalm twenty-three, and these scriptures.
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
Psalm 118:17 KJV
No weapon that is formed against thee [me] shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee [me] in judgment thou [I] shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

1 John 4:4 KJV
The Word is the greatest asset in the whole world (Heaven, earth, and the underworld). Treasure the Word with all your heart, soul, and body.
- When the storms become unbearable, call on the name of Jesus Christ.
- When the storms exceed your strength, search the for the Word that fits the problem and declare it with your tongue.
- When your enemies are mocking at you, and you cannot bear it anymore. Pray and declare these psalms.
..how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
