How to Stand the Storms of Life 5 (Overcoming the Challenges of life)

This is episode five on my teachings breaking the storms of life and becoming purposeful. Kindly read the previous lessons if you haven’t gone through them. I have laid the foundations in those articles. In this episode, I will share with you one of the most potent keys to break the spirit of discouragement, fear, confusion, and darkness. I call this key plugging into the supernatural realm.

We are travelers on this earth (See 1 Peter 2:11). This world is not our home. Soon we will unite with Jesus Christ and His angels, so don’t be discouraged. Jesus Christ will destroy Satan and his followers in the lake of fire and recreate this world.

We will live happily with the saints that died in the Lord, the holy angels, and God Almighty. There will be no darkness, sickness, injustice, and sin in this world. We will become like Jesus Christ. It will be a glorious day! We shall reign as kings and priests on that day. We will forever live with Christ Jesus on that glorious day, so don’t be discouraged!

There are times we go through injustice because the world and the demons oppose us. The unbelievers may not understand our philosophy (our principles, logic, and the way we process information) because the Holy Spirit is absent in them (See 1 Corinthians 2:14).

We operate with the kingdom constitution (Holy Bible) while they operate only on the five senses. The unbelievers will never believe until they see. We (Christians) walk by faith. We believe in the unseen (See 2 Corinthians 5:7).

This does not mean that Christians do not operate by the five senses. We also operate by the five senses, but there are times we move beyond the five senses. We call this faith. Even among the Christians, there are categories.

Some are Catholics, Charismatics, Orthodox, Modern Pharisees, Protestants, Adventists, and Evangelicals. The list goes on. I cannot list all the categories. Every Christian has its doctrines, traditions, dogmas, and ethics.

If you are going to overcome the storms of life, understand that you are a human being with limitations. There are some things our physical strength cannot control. We need the help of God.

Some unbelievers like the Atheists don’t believe in the existence of God. Scientists and other skeptics need evidence and research to believe in the existence of God. Their case differs from ours.

As Christians, our source of strength is the Holy Spirit. The fact that we are human beings with corrupted flesh living in an unlawful world means we will encounter challenges. We are composed of three entities (Meditate on 1 Thessalonians 5:23 and Hebrews 4:12). We are spirit beings with a soul, and this soul lives in the body.

We are like God. God is a Person with three distinct Personalities. For example, the fire has heat, smoke, and light, yet we cannot separate the heat from the fire; neither can we separate the light from the fire. Time is in three dimensions, the past, present, and future. Space has three levels, breadth, height, and length. The same applies to the trinity of man.

There are some things our body cannot control; we need the assistance of our spirit and soul. God is a Spirit and He is the best Person to assist us (Meditate on John 4:24). God has given us His Spirit (the Holy Spirit) to help us in our vicissitudes of life (See John 16:13).  Our mind is limited to understand certain things in life. We need the assistance of celestial beings.

Using your limited knowledge and strength to solve certain problems in your life will worsen the case. We must humble ourselves and seek the face of God because there are some things God alone can do. For example, there are some strange sickness doctors cannot cure. We need the miracle of God. There are some questions we cannot answer. We need the divine wisdom of God.

You might be going through some storms in life. You may have visited the best professionals, doctors, herbalists, and other important dignitaries but to no avail. Like the woman who spent twelve years of her life visiting physicians and medical professionals with her blood issue. This woman spent all her money looking for healing.

She thought she could use her wealth to solve her storm (Anemia). She realized that she needed divine intervention. She said herself if I could touch the garment of Jesus Christ, I will receive my healing. She used her faith to receive her healing. Read for yourself.

And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,

Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.

And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?

And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.

And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.

And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.

Luke 8:43-48 KJV

This woman would never have received her deliverance if she did not act on her faith. It was her faith that made her receive divine healing. Maybe you have been visiting the best hospitals with your incurable sickness (Coronavirus, cancer, ulcer, HIV/AIDS, Syphilis, Asthma, and uncommon diseases). Can I recommend Jesus Christ to you? He is the answer to your storm!

You need divine intervention. You cannot solve your storms by your strength. You need the hands of God. God is saying, your thoughts are not His thoughts, and your ways are not His ways. Repent and renew your mind with the Word to enable you to agree with the mindset of Jesus Christ.

• Jesus Christ can heal you if you believe the Word (Holy Bible) with all your heart.
• Jesus Christ can heal you if you put your faith into action.
• Jesus Christ can raise your dead neighbor if you put your faith into action. If Jesus Christ could raise Lazarus, who has been dead for over three days, why can’t Jesus raise that corpse in your community?
• Jesus Christ can settle the problem in your family if you put your faith into action.
• Jesus Christ can heal every disease because He is the Healer. Believe the Word and put your faith into action.
• Jesus Christ can deliver your neighbors from that situation, put your faith into action.

Sometimes, faith demands patience because God is stretching us to build a strong relationship with Him. Act on your faith now. Thank the Heavenly Father for hearing your prayers. Place your hands on that sick person or on that corpse and command that person to receive divine strength in the name of Jesus Christ.

If you are not well in any part of your body, touch that place and declare, by the stripes of the Lamb, I am healed! Take a cup of water or a bottle of water and declare that water as the blood of Jesus Christ with faith. Drink that water with absolute faith, believing that every sickness in your body is gone! Believe God has healed you and thank Him for the healing by faith!

There is nothing Jesus Christ cannot do. Jesus Christ is looking at your faith in His Word. With God, all things are possible (See Mark 9:23). Jesus needs your faith. He wants you to act on His Word as the Holy Spirit directs you. No storm can stop you if you put your faith into action. Remember, without faith in God’s Word; you are acting on your courage. Recognize your limitations and lean on Jesus Christ and His Word. Act on the Word as the Holy Spirit directs you. That storm will turn into a miracle! Glory to God!
