How to Stand the Storms of Life 4 (Overcoming the Challenges of life)

We give glory and honour unto the King of Kings and Lord of Lords for His great mercies, love, and wisdom in our lives. This is lesson four on my teachings breaking the storms of life and becoming purposeful. In episode one, I explained that we must apply the key of hope to enable us to overcome discouragement, confusion, and challenges.

In episode two, I explained that we must use the Abrahamic faith, the Word, and seek knowledge to enable us to overcome the storms we face. In episode three, I explained that we must use the key of light, the system of the world and kingdom to enable us to overcome the storms of life.

In this episode, I will share with you the three most exceptional spiritual keys we can use to overcome the storms of life. I call these keys prayer, kingdom living, and supernatural lifestyle. Prayer is one of the most powerful antidotes in the Spirit. It is through prayer that the Holy Spirit revitalize our spirit to enable us to overcome the storms of life.

There are some storms we can never conquer until we pray. Apostle Paul commands that we must pray without ceasing (See 1 Thessalonians 5:17). Without a prayer life, we limit the flow of the Spirit. Prayer breaks the invisible barriers and arrows of the enemy that makes us fearful and hopeless. Prayer booster our faith in Jesus Christ. If you don’t have a prayer life, you become a prisoner in the kingdom of darkness.

I always emphasize in my teaching service that “A prayerless Christian is a potential prey for the enemy.” Prayerless Christians are powerless in the Spiritual realm. Without prayer, you limit the flow of the supernatural. It is through prayer that we command God and His angels to fight the invisible enemies that limit us from progressing in life.

This is what the Psalmist says.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Psalm 91:1 KJV

There is a secret place God has prepared for His children. The devil and his minions cannot access this place because it is the fortress of God. The question is, where can we find this secret place? If this secret place is real, then there must be an entrance. Know these truths.

• In this secret place, the storms of life cannot overtake us.
• In this secret place, God hides us from trouble.
• In this secret place, God delivers us from the plans of the enemy.
• In this secret place, we become invisible to our sworn enemies.
• In this secret place, no powers of darkness can penetrate.
• In this place, there is victory.
• In this secret place, we enjoy the peace of the Holy Spirit.
• In this secret place, we override the arrows of discouragement, confusion, and oppression.
• In this secret place, there is liberty.
• In this secret place, we exercise divine authority.
• In this secret place, we exercise our dominion mandate.
• In this secret place, we command the celestial forces to fight for us.
• In this secret place, the angels of God defend us.
• In this secret place, we walk in power.
• In this place, God shows forth His power and authority.

The question is, how can we enter and abide in this secret place? We enter this secret place through Spirit-filled prayer (worship, praise, and supplication unto the King of Kings and Lords). We enter this arena through intensive intercessory prayers.

It is at this place that we unload our burdens unto Jesus Christ. God delivers us from every arrow of the enemy when we enter this place. Let us read from the Holy scriptures.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Psalm 91:1-16 KJV

When we enter this arena, God and His angels are at duty to perform the promises attached. Why don’t you build a consistent prayer life to enable you to enter this arena? Pursue the kingdom righteousness, cry unto the Lord in prayers through fasting, and God will deliver you from every trouble. He promised in His Word.

The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

Psalm 34:17 KJV

God has attached obedience to this promise. Some promises of God demand our obedience. If we pursue the kingdom righteousness, build a prayer life and cry unto the Lord in faith, God will deliver us from our adversary, affliction, anguish, distress, tribulation, trouble and adversity.
