Mankind can never predict the ways and the thoughts of God because His ways are unsearchable. The psychologist has studied man for a long time so they can accurately detect some behaviour disorders of mankind. They have studied the acts and the science of mankind. For example, the psychologist believes that most women are emotional beings; whiles men are rational beings.
The scientist has discovered the causal agent of some sickness because they made experiments and in-depth research. Their studies have enabled them to determine the causes of important cases that happen in the journey of life. No experienced scientist, philosopher, and researcher understand the ways and the thoughts of God.
The scientist can never experiment with the ways of God because He is above experimentation. Several acclaimed discoveries have been made by scientists who claim to discover the existence of God. Their method may be logical and tangible, but we cannot quantify God in a vacuum.
The Word of God states that the ways of God are far higher than the ways of man. Our way of judging the outcome of life differs from how God defines it. In the natural, some people believe education, unity, hard work, discipline, power, law, and order brings peace and development, but it may be different in the sight of God. How can someone acquire his first degree, Masters and Ph.D. and still struggle in life? An ordinary person can win a billion lottery and make his country, family, and personal life great. Is it luck, destiny, or chance?
What we think to be right may be abominable in the sight of God because the ways of God are far higher than our ways. We may go through struggles and challenges in life. Men may accuse us of evil, but in the sight of God, He may be training us for His purpose. How can God command Abraham to sacrifice his only son Isaac as a sacrifice? (See Genesis 22:1-13). God knew Isaac was Abraham’s only son, but He still insisted Abraham should sacrifice Isaac.
Some may judge God as a wicked and an unreasonable being. God knew what He was doing, God knew human sacrifice was evil, yet He commanded Abraham to sacrifice Isaac. Abraham might have questioned God that killing Isaac is murder. Abraham might have asked God about the promise He made to him concerning Isaac, but God knew what He was doing.
When the time came for Abraham to sacrifice his son at the altar, God commanded Abraham through the voice of an angel to stop because he prepared a ram for the sacrifice. The revelation behind Abraham sacrificing his son Isaac was to reveal to us about Jesus Christ. God sacrificed His only Son (Jesus Christ) as a sin offering for us.
God was trying to reveal to us He would sacrifice his beloved son Jesus Christ. In the natural, people may misjudge God as an unrighteous God commanding Abraham to sacrifice his only son Isaac. Most often, people are quick to condemn, judge, and reject others in their actions without discerning the heart of the person. Men have buried people alive because of ignorance and wickedness.
The Atheist, heretics, the skeptical and other unbelievers condemn the Christian faith because they can never understand why God should become a human being and live among His creation. God was born of a virgin woman called Mary. The birth of Jesus Christ was supernatural because there was no sexual intercourse before Mary conceived Jesus Christ.
Doctors and other heretics may disagree with the birth of Jesus Christ because, without the sperms of a man, the woman cannot give birth. There are some things in life we can never understand with the mind because it is beyond our five senses. This is when we need faith because faith connects us to the supernatural.
You cannot pour a hundred liters of water into a five-liter bottle. The wisdom of God exceeds the knowledge of man. We need the Holy Spirit to enable us to connect with God because the Holy Spirit knows the ways and the thoughts of God. We need the Word to enable us to get deeper with God because the thought and the wisdom of God are hidden in the Word.
If you are not born again, repent and confess Jesus Christ as your Saviour over your life because, without Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit cannot access your heart. The Holy Spirit in the best Person to teach and explain the Word to you. The Holy Spirit is the best Person to reveal the thoughts of God to you. Don’t be like the Ethiopian Enoch who read the Holy Scriptures but did not get the understanding of the Word until Philip explained to him (See Acts 8:26-40). Reading the Word without the Holy Spirit is dangerous and suicidal because you will wrongly interpret the Word of God.
Don’t rely on the history books you read because the books may not be inspired by the Holy Spirit. All these books are a set of theories written by unbelievers. Connect with the Holy Bible and with books, videos, and music connected with the Word, and you will understand the ways of the thoughts of God.
