Date: 12 May 2025
Movie
title: Africana Light
Genre: Action/ Documentary / Historical Political Drama
Written by: Duodu Henry Appiah-Korang
This
movie (documentary) is worth more than seventy-seven trillion Ghana cedis.
At the beginning of the movie, an
old African man begins by telling a story. “Africans were united, building and
living in happiness. Chiefs were the leaders of each African clan. Then there
was an invasion of foreigners who influenced and persuaded the Africans.
Africans began to segregate into
different groups because of the negative influence of the foreigners. Then the
foreigners who invaded the African countries started fighting the Africans.
Then the foreigners set wars within the Africans that created internal
conflicts.”
A new leadership scene takes place
in the African communities where foreigners imbibe their leadership style into
the African world. Numerous Africans adopted the leadership style from there,
while some still maintained the chieftainship style.
Foreigners now take the leadership
of various African communities, with foreigners being the major
influencers.
From there, some African leaders
desire that they (the Africans) lead the Africans. Foreigners begin to leave
African countries. However, the foreigners create internal conflicts among the
Africans.
Some African leaders start engaging
in a coup d'état. African leaders who want total control of their countries and
resources begin to face troubles in the African communities.
The invaders (foreign powers) begin
to use ignorant and unfaithful Africans to take away power from the faithful
African leaders who have the growth of the African people at heart.
From there, we see various scenes
of African leaders such as Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba, Thomas Sankara,
Muammar Gaddafi… being opposed, while some are killed as the old African man
tells the story to the Africans.
Then certain African leaders in
Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso takes the major leadership position. However,
Ibrahim Traore is seen more in the media.
In the movie, it will be like
Ibrahim Traore is needed by the Western powers. The Western powers formulate
plans to get rid of Ibrahim Traore.
The Western powers align with internal enemies to assassinate Ibrahim Traore. The
Western Powers aligned with some West African powers to assassinate Ibrahim
Traore.
The Western Power uses media and technology to bring down Ibrahim Traore
through false news and propaganda. The Western Powers use the wife of Ibrahim
Traore to get him, but fail.
Over 15 assassination attempts are made to destroy Ibrahim Traore, but they
fail.
Ibrahim Traore sets up security
systems as a defense mechanism. Ibrahim Traore aligns with some trusted powerful
organizations and countries as a defense system.
In the movie, Ibrahim Traore's family breaks apart as frustration springs forth
from his wife and close associates. However, Ibrahim Traore does not give up. The
citizens of Burkina Faso stand with Ibrahim Traore by showing his good works.
Numerous Africans also stand with
Ibrahim Traore in the movie. Ibrahim Traore begins building Burkina Faso with
substantial resources.
Ibrahim Traore remembers how his
old fathers were mistreated and their passion for building their countries was
destroyed. Ibrahim Traore's memories empower him while contemplating these
leaders.
Ibrahim Traore meets with trusted leaders to influence them on past African
leaders who could have done good in their country but were assassinated.
Ibrahim Traore further discusses important issues that will bring growth and
unity to Africa.
A mega war ensues in the movie.
In the movie, the Western Powers begin to attack Ibrahim Traore with weapons.
Ibrahim Traore fights back with weapons with his military. However, Ibrahim
Traore's troops begin to lose ground gradually. Depression starts coming. Hope
starts falling. The soldiers and citizens of Ibrahim Traore begin to cry for
help in the movie. Ibrahim Traore decides
to give up on the battlefield as all hope is gone.
The African media channels get
involved in the war as they spread news on how Africa should be ready for a
revolution.
While Ibrahim Traore is engaging
the Western powers and unfaithful military gangs, a scene will be shown where
various religious groups will be crying, fasting, and praying to their God for the
victory of Ibrahim Traore (The scene will be more sensational). At the same
time, the war will be ongoing.
A miracle happens as Ibrahim fights
with all his strength yet all hope is gone (the scene will be heroic and
sensational with powerful musical background). A powerful organization, combined
with some powerful African military, intervenes to fight for Ibrahim Traore and
the people of Burkina Faso. The passion, hope, and alliance of the military
helpers are felt in the movie as they fly with jets, armored cars, and various
military weapons.
The bravery of Ibrahim Traore is felt in the movie.
After Ibrahim Traore wins, major African countries demand compensation for the natural resources taken from their countries by Western powers. A new deal takes place.
Some African countries signed a new
deal that they will control their natural resources. Some African countries
signed a deal with a profit share of 50:50 percent. Some African
countries agree on a 60:40 percent profit share deal.
After the deal, pictures and videos are shown of various African countries'
rapid development of substantial buildings, ultra-modern roads, hospitals,
schools, and factories.
In the movie, various African billionaires, organizations, and millionaires
meet to gather information on how they will use their resources to defend and
maintain Africa's prosperity, peace, and power.
More pictures and videos are showcased
on all media channels, where various African countries start developing rapidly
with substantial buildings, ultra-modern roads, hospitals, schools, and
factories.
After the movie
A showcase of pictures and videos of African natural resources
A showcase of the value of the natural resources in Africa
A showcase on how we (Africans) can use these resources to unite and build
Africa
A showcase of some ways Africa can unite
Lessons from the movie
The power of strong, unbending, and selfless leadership
The power of unity
The power of an unrelenting spirit, or not giving up despite the enemy.
Cover of the movie
Ibrahim Traore will be biggest within sided by Mali and Niger presidents who

Movie synopsis
Africana Light is a powerful,
genre-blending cinematic experience that fuses the raw realism of documentary
with the emotional weight of historical drama and the adrenaline of political
action. Told through the voice of an elder African storyteller, this film
captures the epic struggle of Africa’s past, present, and future—from the era
of unity and traditional leadership, through the trauma of colonization, to the
ongoing battle for sovereignty and identity.
At its core, Africana Light centers
on the journey of real-life Burkinabé leader Ibrahim Traoré, whose modern-day
resistance against internal betrayal and foreign influence mirrors the
struggles of iconic African leaders like Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba, Thomas
Sankara, and Muammar Gaddafi. As the film unfolds, viewers witness both the
tragedy and triumph of a continent determined to reclaim its power, resources,
and destiny.
The film concludes with a
breathtaking climax: a final war of ideologies, spiritual resilience, and
pan-African solidarity that leads to a revolutionary new future—one where
African nations stand united, self-sufficient, and thriving.
Africana Light is more than a
film—it is a call to remembrance, a mirror to the present, and a vision for the
future. Bold, relevant, and emotionally charged, it is poised to spark vital
conversations about leadership, unity, and African empowerment across global
audiences.
Why This Story Matters:
With the growing global attention
on decolonization, resource equity, and African development, Africana Light
arrives at a time when its message is urgently needed. It speaks not only to
Africans but to anyone invested in justice, self-determination, and the untold
stories of global power dynamics.
