The Rewards on the Road to the Celestial City (4)

 

Loved ones in Christ Jesus, I believe you are growing in the strength of the Lord. Many are the afflictions and persecutions of the saints, but Christ Jesus delivers them all (See Psalm 34:19).

The King of Kings and the Lord of LORDS (Jesus Christ) is winning the battles for us in the spiritual realm. Never allow the spirit of fear to stop you from attaining your rewards in the Celestial City because you are unstoppable. 

Glory to the Heavenly Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit for His unconditional love, mercy, and wisdom! Hallelujah! Connect with this anointed song. The words (See Psalm 3) hidden in the music is powerful. The power within the words will boost your faith and activate the archangels within your jurisdiction.

As we wait for our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, be watchful, vigilant, and prayerful because there are invisible warfares hovering around your environment (Meditate on 1 Peter 5:8-9). Get in touch with the Word of God because the Word (Holy Bible) will transform your mind and make you walk and live in divine wisdom.

• Walking and living in the holiness of Jesus Christ will activate the law of divine reversal. The one seeking your downfall will fall into his trap (Meditate on Proverbs 5:22-23).
• Walking and living in the holiness of Jesus Christ will close the doors and traps set by the enemy.
• The archangels of God become your protector when you walk and live in the holiness of Jesus Christ (Meditate on Psalm 34:7).
• Walking and living in the holiness of Jesus Christ creates an invisible shield of fire that protects you from all attacks of the enemy (Meditate on Job 1).

The best way to walk and live in the holiness of Jesus Christ is to walk and live with a pure heart (conscience). When your heart is right with God, and you walk and live in divine (agape) love, the Heavenly Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit becomes your advocator and defender. 

The blood of Jesus Christ cries with a loud voice canceling all the evidence of the enemy when we walk and live in divine love and the holiness of Jesus Christ (Meditate on 1 John 1:6-7). I recommend you get my book, How to Walk and Live in the Spirit. 

There is a great blessing in serving God with a pure heart. God will always deliver you from all impending danger when you walk in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. Let's read from the holy scriptures.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

2 Timothy 4:7-8 KJV

Apostle Paul writes to his ministerial associate Timothy (includes every Christian believer) that he has fought a good fight. If Apostle Paul struggled to compete for a prize and contended with the enemy under the grace dispensation, then we must understand that there are some battles we must win to enable us to access our blessings.

Apostle Paul endeavored to accomplish great things in the ministry because he knew the rewards. We have to activate the nature of the lion because we must fight spiritually. Failure to fight on your knees can make you lose the battle in the spiritual realm.

Our rewards demand faith because, without faith, God cannot deliver blessings. It is through faith that we connect with the power and blessings of God. Faith keeps us moving despite the trials, pains, afflictions, and accusations.

In verse eight of First Timothy, chapter four, Apostle Paul, declared a crown of righteousness the Lord has laid up for him. What a glorious day! Every believer in Christ Jesus must understand that we have great treasures awaiting us in the Celestial City.

Enduring seasonal pain can be hurtful if you have not trained your spirit and soul in the Word. It is a glorious opportunity to serve the Lord with all your soul, spirit, and body.  The wolves in sheep’s clothing are the dangerous ones because they can distract you from attaining your blessings.

Failure to apply the wisdom embedded in God’s Word can make you weak in the spirit. If you are weak in the spirit, you will find it challenging to serve the Lord and His church. Stand your ground like a good soldier because your reward is great. Apostle Paul fought the battle because he did not want anyone to take his blessings.

Keep up with the spiritual fight because God is crushing your enemies under His feet. God is setting you up for mighty works. As Apostle writes, “there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”

How many rewards (crowns) will you receive on that precious day? Maybe you have been going through a lot of persecution. I have good news for you. God has prepared a priceless crown for you in the Celestial City. Apostle Paul said, God has not prepared the crown of righteousness for him alone but for all (includes you) that patiently hope and wait on Jesus Christ.

• Are you longing in your heart to see Christ Jesus?
• Do you feel like giving up on your Christian faith?
• Do you feel hopeless because the unbelievers and some "believers" do not love you?
• Are you going through some persecution because of your faith in Jesus Christ?

Be still and know that God is preparing a precious mansion for you in His kingdom. Jesus Christ loves you as you are. Love God with all your heart, strength, resources, and love your neighbor as yourself (Meditate on John 21:15-17). Never allow the confusion and persecution in this world to distract your love for Jesus Christ and His kingdom.

Be active in the things of God. Build yourself in the Lord through prayers and fasting. Walk in the footsteps of Jesus Christ through the Word (Holy Bible). Have strong and unmovable faith in Christ Jesus and His Word. 

Fellowship with the Holy Spirit through anointed and scripture inspired Christian music. Walk with the eyes and heart of faith. Keep up with the good works and treasure Jesus Christ above all things because His rewards for you are eternal. Glory to God!
