The Adventures on the Road to the Celestial City (1)
Loved one in Christ Jesus, I believe you are growing in the strength of the Lord. It’s been a glorious moment this week. The Lord has been fighting the invisible battles for us. The atmosphere in this season is not conducive for carnality because the forces of darkness are projecting deadly arrows to distract our spiritual life (See Psalm 91:5).
The challenge is that most Christians are ignorant of the season (See 2 Timothy 3:1-5, Matthew 24:3-51). The minions of the devil have captured the ignorant and carnal “Christians” in the dark prison. Some Christians have allowed demons to use them to destroy the lives of others.
Some Christians have given up on their faith because of the demonic atmosphere dominating their jurisdiction. This season calls for watchfulness and prayer because the devil and his minions are working to break the gates of God’s kingdom (Meditate on Matthew 26:41).
Child of God, this is the time to rise from spiritual slumber. Don’t allow the devil to capture you with the spirit of fear, lust, and bitterness (Meditate on 2 Timothy 1:7). Be conscious of the Holy Spirit by concentrating on the things that will upgrade your spiritual life. Read also...
In this article, I will share with you one of the most important topics some Christians have ignored. I believe this article will empower you to stand strong in the faith of our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. This is the time to exhibit your faith.
The hour is now to lift the banner of Jesus Christ high. Greater is He that lives in us than the one that lives in this world (See 1 John 4:4). The King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Jesus Christ) live in us in the person of the Holy Spirit, so don't be fearful. Becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ is not easy to journey.
There are times we will face persecutions from the unbelievers, carnal, soulish, and nominal "Christians" because Jesus went through this season. If you don’t put on the whole armour of God, the arrows the devil will push you into the world and make you a slave of the devil (Meditate on Ephesians 6:10-18).
We are travellers on this earth. We are strangers passing by (See 1 Peter 2:11, Hebrews 11:13). Our citizenship is in Heaven. We don’t belong to this world. God will destroy evil and rebuild this earth soon. This earth will become a new world, so don’t be discouraged when you go through persecution.
As strangers on earth, some systems governing this world will not favour us. Apply wisdom when using the system of this world because they can fight against us. Jesus said the unbelievers (includes carnal Christians) will attack us with abusive words because we are His disciples.
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in Heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Matthew 5:11-12 KJV
The unbelievers and nominal Christians (churchgoers) will speak evil of us and accuse us falsely because they did it to Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ encourages us (Christians) that we must be joyful when the unbelievers and the blinded carnal “Christians” speak evil of us because He has prepared a great reward for us in His kingdom (See John 14:1-3).
None of the twelve disciples (Peter, Philip, Thomas, Andrews, James, the son of Zebedee, Matthew, Bartholomew, James, the son of Alphaeus, Lebbaeus, Simon, John, and Matthias) of Jesus Christ died naturally. Apostle John is the only disciple among the twelve who died naturally.
In the Glorified Kingdom (New Earth), there is no evil. There is no darkness in this kingdom because Jesus Christ controls all the activities. In this corrupt world, we must be ready for insults, slander, mockery, treachery, and persecutions from the blinded people and nominal “Christians” because Jesus Christ declared it in the Word.
It is unscriptural when all men speak well of us. Jesus said, “Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets (See Luke 6:26). If all men speak well of us, then there is a question mark in our Christian life. God knew people will curse Abraham, so He decreed that whoever curses Abraham shall be cursed, and whoever blesses Abraham shall be blessed (See Genesis 12:3). Know these truths.
- Some people will accuse us falsely because they did it to our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ.
- Some people will oppose us because they did it to our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ.
- Some people will persecute us because they did it to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
- Some people will mock us because they did it to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
- Some people will slander us because they did it to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
- Some people will desire our death because they did it to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
- Some people will imagine evil happen to us because they did it to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
- Some people will betray us because they did it to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
- Some people will feel ashamed to identify with us because they did it to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
- Some people will sell us for temporal things because they did it to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
- Some people will issue curses on us because they did it to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
I remember I had a dream on the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. In the dream, I saw Jesus Christ being stripped naked on the street as He carried the cross. In the dream, I did not see Jesus private organs. I saw children and the people throwing stones at Jesus Christ whiles others issued insults at Jesus Christ. The dream was real because I saw it with my spiritual eyes.
The road to the celestial city is not easy because the unbelievers and some carnal “Christians” will never agree with us. I recommend you get the John Bunyan book, “The Pilgrim Progress” or get my book “Keep Quiet and Let Me Jesus Christ” for a more profound revelation. We walk with the mindset of the Holy Spirit (Word). We walk by faith because our spirit, soul, and body are connected with the Holy Spirit (See 2 Corinthians 5:7).
When the Holy Spirit takes absolute control over our lives, we walk by faith. Nothing bothers us anymore because we know are led by the Spirit of God (Meditate on 1 Corinthians 2:15-16). Be joyful when the unbelievers and carnal “Christians” persecute you. Your reward is great in Heaven!
One sign you are living a godly life is when you notice that the world harasses and monitor you to destroy you (See 2 Timothy 3:12). Be still and know that Jesus Christ is your defender and protector. The angels of God are mandated to protect you if you walk and live in the holiness of Jesus Christ (Meditate on Psalm 34:7, Daniel 6:22, Psalm 91:1-11).
Jesus Christ has overcome the world. Be glad and praise God because we are more than victors. Jesus Christ is above all powers and authority (Meditate on Philippians 2:1-11, John 16:33).
- When your friends reject you, turn to Jesus Christ.
- When your family rejects you, turn to Jesus Christ.
- When your co-workers reject you, turn to Jesus Christ.
- When you feel like giving up, call on Jesus Christ in prayers.
It is better to be on the side of Jesus Christ and be rejected by the world than to be accepted by the world and be rejected by Jesus Christ. Child of God, stand with Jesus Christ at all circumstances because He will never forsake you (Meditate on Hebrews 13:5, Psalm 27:10). Jesus Christ is always ready to embrace you with love. When all hope and joy is lost, call on Jesus Christ because He is the complete expression of love. Glory to God!
