How to Stand the Storms of Life 7 (Overcoming the Challenges of life)

We thank God Almighty for His unconditional love in our lives. This is episode seven on my teachings breaking the storms of life and becoming purposeful. In this lesson, I will share with you one of the most exceptional keys you can use to break the storms limiting you in the Spirit.

Kindly read lesson one for a better understanding of this teaching. As I said, I will unveil to you one of the most important spiritual keys you can use as a believer in Christ Jesus to enable you to overcome the storms of life. I call this key the invisible power of God.

Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Ephesus that God has raised us together with Christ Jesus and that we are seated together with Jesus in the heavenly places. This means we carry the divine power of Jesus Christ.  Let’s read from the scripture because the Word is our source of truth.

…And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Ephesians 2:6 KJV

I believe you have observed the word “made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ.” We (Christians) are seated together with Jesus in heavenly places. This means every believer in Jesus Christ has divine power over forces on the earth, in the air, underworld, and water bodies.

True (Spirit-filled) Christians have authority over every force of darkness. Don’t underestimate yourself as a Christian because demons and agents of the devil trembles when they see you. We are above elemental spirits, such as the wicked dwarfs and marine spirits.

We are far above vicious occult societies, witches, wizards, evil principalities, demons, the spirit of hell, the grave, spiritual host of wickedness, evil traditional priests, Satanists, magicians, necromancers, sorcerers, the Illuminati, false religious groups, and any evil group you can think of.

We are seated with Jesus Christ in the heavenly places. We have the first heavens (it comprises the sun, moon, stars, and atmosphere). We have the second heavens (it comprises the fallen angels, evil principalities, spiritual host of wickedness, rulers of darkness, and other invisible wicked spirits abides).

We have the third heavens where the saints, the holy angels, and God abides. We have over seven levels of the heavenly kingdom our physical eyes cannot see. Lucifer wanted to make his abode in the highest heaven, and God used his archangels to demote him from his position (See Isaiah 14:12-15).

Apostle Paul stated that we are seated together with Jesus Christ in the heavenly. Apostle Paul did not say prophets or leaders in the church. He said we (Christians) are seated with Jesus Christ far above principalities and powers. Lucifer desired to sit with God Almighty in that arena, but he couldn’t. The devil wanted to use an illegal way to take the seat of God Almighty.

In our time, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ have opened the door for us (Christians) to sit together with Jesus Christ in the place Lucifer desired. We are far above Satan and his minions in the spiritual realm. No power can transcend this place. Maybe I should share this scripture with you to confirm the truth.

I [Paul] Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Ephesians 1:16-23 KJV (Emphasis added)

In verse sixteen of Ephesians chapter one, Apostle Paul emphasized to the church in Ephesus that he always made prayers to God that God will open their spiritual senses to enable them to understand the mysteries of the kingdom.

In verse nineteen, the Apostle stated that those who believe in Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord of their life, God had entrusted them with exceeding great power. This means it takes faith to exercise this divine authority. If you are carnal, you cannot exercise this authority.

It does not end there. Apostle Paul stated that the Heavenly Father has raised Jesus, and He is sitting in the heavenly places. In this place, Jesus Christ is far above principalities, powers, might, and dominions! The Heavenly Father has put all things under the feet of Jesus Christ.

If Jesus Christ is far above principalities, powers, might, and dominions and we are seated together with Jesus Christ in the heavenly places, then we are also far above these spiritual forces. Remember that God’s angels are in categories.

Some are principalities, powers, Archangels, might, and dominions. Request my free book, "Understanding the Ministry of Angels" for a more profound revelation on angels. We are above these godly angels! Come out of that spiritual prison and exercise divine authority because these forces (both good and evil) are below us (See Ephesians 6:12).

The storms you are facing are below you. Pray using the name of Jesus Christ. Declare the promises of God with your tongue because the power lies in you. Jesus Christ lives in us in the person of the Holy Spirit (Meditate on 1 John 4:4). Don’t allow the spirit of fear, death, hell, grave, and the sea defeat you because we are above them. You only become a slave in the evil kingdom when you fail to exercise divine authority. I always say ignorance is a silent killer. What you don’t know can kill you. Many Christians have allowed the storms (enemies) to destroy them and their families because of ignorance.

It is time you exercise divine authority. The devil has deceived you for a long time. Say no to depression, fear, oppression, sickness, demonic harassment, and all the attacks of the enemy through intensive intercessory prayer.

God has been watching you all this while to exercise divine authority. It is time you break through that storms. Don’t give up. Stand on the righteousness of Jesus Christ and enter the secret place of the Highest (See Psalm 91). The storms that are limiting your progress will bow!  Remember the words of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Luke 10:19 KJV

Don’t become a prisoner in the enemy’s kingdom because the power lies in you. Know your authority as a Christian. Unleash the missiles in the Word, and the storms will turn into a miracle. Glory to God!
