HOW TO LIVE IN THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

 1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Apostle John makes a profound statement that a believer in Christ Jesus cannot sin because he is born of God. The question we must ask ourselves is, if Jesus Christ in the human flesh could live a sinless life, I believe we can live an innocent life. We struggle in life to please God because the Word commands us to please Him (See 2 Timothy3:12). Pleasing God makes men persecute you because of their sinful nature. These are some questions we must ask ourselves.

• Did Jesus Christ live a sinless life because He was the Son of God?
• Did Jesus Christ live a sinless life because His birth was supernatural?
• Did Jesus Christ live a sinless life because He was prayerful?
• Did Jesus Christ live a sinless life because He was God?
• Did Jesus Christ live a sinless life because He preached the gospel?

Some unbelievers believe in their goodness and morality. Our morality cannot measure up with the holiness of God. God’s standard of holiness goes beyond morality. In the law court, spiritual things cannot be judged because they are intangible. They cannot decide because they have no evidence.

The only weapon that can judge our thoughts and actions is the Word of God (See Hebrews 4:12). The Word of God can judge what we are thinking in our heads, the motives behind our actions, and the conditions of our heart. This means that the Word of God is the best asset we can rely on to make us live in the consciousness of God.

• The Word can sanctify our soul (thoughts, will and desire) See John 17:17.
• The Word can transform our mind (Meditate Romans 12:1-2).
• The Word can break every evil thought in our life (Meditate Jeremiah 23:29).
• The Word can make us think like Jesus Christ (Meditate Hebrews 4:12)
• The Word can connect us with the frequency of Heaven (Meditate Hebrews 4:12).
• The Word can break every invisible barrier in our lives (Meditate on Jeremiah 23:20).
• The Word can set us free from every addiction (Meditate on Jeremiah 23:20).
• The Word can connect us with the power of God (Meditate Hebrews 4:12).

You cannot see radio waves with your eyes, but when you tune on your radio to a set frequency, you can connect to the radio station. That is how the Word works. The frequency of the Holy Spirit is connected to the Word. When we meditate on the Word and practice the Word, our spirit and soul becomes one with the Holy Spirit.

When our soul and spirit become one with the Word, we can connect with the consciousness of the Holy Spirit. Get my book entitled “How to Grow in the Realms of the Spirit” for a more profound revelation. We need the Word in our spirit to enable us to connect with God.

The devil may use someone to tempt a Christian to sin. An unbeliever loves to sin. The curiosity of a Christian may tempt him to sin, but he does not have the desire to sin. The unbeliever loves to sin because he desires to sin. For example, a Christian with Ghc700.00 may have a desire to buy a phone, but he has decided not to buy the phone with the money. In this scenario, the money is a symbol of sin because all Christians have a desire to sin, but the Christian has decided not to sin because he does not want to sin.

The seed is the Word in our heart. When we meditate on the Word, the Holy Spirit breathes life into our spirit and soul to enable us to receive the nutrient inside the Word (Meditate on Luke 8:4-15).

• The seed of holiness abides in the Word.
• The seed of love abides in the Word.
• The seed of faith abides in the Word.
• The seed of divine power abides in the Word.
• The seed of God’s anointing abides in the Word.
• The seed of wisdom abides in the Word.
• The seed of knowledge abides in the Word.
• The seed of favour abides in the Word.
• The Seed of prosperity abides in the Word.

Every divine seed abides in the Word. The cake is yours to cut. If you feed on scriptures containing holiness, the Holy Spirit will release the seed of holiness into your spirit. If you feed on scriptures containing love, the Holy Spirit will release the seed of love into your spirit. If you feed on scriptures containing faith, the Holy Spirit will release the seed of faith into your spirit.
