Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

One of the most dangerous weapons the enemy uses against mankind is the arrow of rejection and inferiority. Get my book entitled "How to Break the Spirit of Inferiority" for a more profound revelation. If the enemy can defeat you inwardly, then he has the upper hand to dominate your entire being. Most often, the enemy uses those around you to limit you in your progress. People will speak against you, people will slander and accuse you of crimes you never committed.
The devil used the Pharisees and some religious leaders to limit Jesus Christ, but they couldn’t. A man weak in the heart will take a long time to fulfill the assignment of God. A man who solely depends on the decision of another before he takes action is weak and unqualified to lead others. The ability to overrule the words and traps of the enemy builds you for the future.
The Word of God says we (Christians) are the salt of the earth. This is a powerful revelation every Christian must catch because salt is relevant on this earth. Salt add tastes to our food. You can use the best vegetables, fish, meats, and other ingredients in your stew, but if you don’t add salt to the stew, it becomes tasteless. That is how God sees us. Every Christian is relevant in this life.
The moment you repent and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and the Saviour of your life, you bring a new experience into your community. The Word of God further states when the salt loses savour, men trample on it. This is how the unbelievers will treat you if you fall from your faith. If you don’t add any value to those around you, they will treat you as an ordinary person.
Jesus Christ cursed the fig tree because it did not produce fruits (See Mark 11:12-21). If you do not expand the kingdom of God, your salt will lose savour (you become unprofitable in the Kingdom of God and a fool to the unbelievers). This will bring the anger of God upon you because Jesus Christ became angry and cursed the fruitless tree. The tree is the Christian, and the dead seed are the people who are chained by evil spirits. A Christian who does not locate the lost sinners becomes a potential prey for the devil.
The Word of God further states we are the light of the world. This means we are the leaders and the creators of this world. Without us (Christians), the unbelievers will lose focus in life because we are the source of peace to the world as a whole. We are to direct the lives of the unbelievers. We are the pacesetters. As Christians, we are set on a high mountain to see the danger before it happens. God uses us to bring the change He desires on earth.
In your workplace, homes, schools, and wherever you are, you are the leader because the Light (Holy Spirit) lives in you. Don’t allow the unbelievers to dominate you because darkness cannot overshadow light (See John 1:5). The one that lives in us is greater than the prince of this world (See 1 John 4:4). Anytime we produce souls through evangelism, intercession, and follow up, it brings glory to the Lord. Refuse any offer that will quench the power of the Holy Spirit because Jesus Christ has given you the power to dominate.
