Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed ?
God in His own wisdom created a man and a woman for a purpose. God knows that two people with the same nature can successfully flow and walk together in unity. God created animals in two pairs. He created a male animal and a female animal for a reason. If you observe the animal kingdom carefully, each animal associates with its fellow. There is no way you will see a goat moving successfully with a cat.
All the time you will see two elephants moving together. Birds in the sky move in pairs. They know the group they belong to. Even in the water bodies, sharks and different fishes moves together in pairs.
This is how God made mankind. The word of God says "Can two walk together EXCEPT they be agreed ". Can couples flow together without an agreement? Can friends walk together without an agreement? Can siblings connect to each other without an agreement? Can a family live happily without an agreement? Can the organization grow successfully without an agreement? The relationship can only stand unless they agree. The ministry moves forward unless you live in agreement. Nothing in this world can successfully move together unless there is an agreement.
The Tower of Babel could have been built if the Lord had not intervened. The people agreed and walked in unity because they knew the power of agreement. This is what God said, "Genesis 11:6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do ."
God said to the Babylonians "nothing will be restrained from them which they have imagined doing". What a powerful revelation. We understand that whatever we agree as a group and work upon is possible. We must always walk in unity because there is power is unity. When there is unity, there is agreement and when there is agreement, there is progress. There might be some cultural differences, do not allow the difference to distract the progress.
For two people two to walk successfully, there must be one purpose, one vision, one assignment, and one goal. The marriage can stand if they live in agreement. Disagreement can only voice out if each partner lives with a different purpose, different faith, different goal, and different vision. Do not allow your temperamental differences to destabilize your association. Disagreement will feature itself. That should not allow the relationship to break. Settle down and reconcile quickly.
There is no way, you will see two drivers controlling the steering of a car at the same time. If these happen, accidents are likely to occur. One must drive whiles the other help when his fellow driver is tired . This is what I call agreement. Even in the animal kingdom, the female lion submits to the male lion.
For the relationship to stand strong, you must use this key, love, and respect. The way his family trained the man might differ from the woman. You must not allow the differences in your personality to break the relationship. The woman might have been through emotional abuse, financial abuse, psychological abuse, physical abuse, socially abused and sexually abused. You must not allow these defects to destroy the relationship. Apply the key of trust and live in unity because the Word says "Two can successfully live if they agree". The husband demands respect from the wife whiles the wife expects love from the husband. Most of the time, we the men interpret respect as love. Remember these keys, there must be one vision, one purpose, one assignment, one vision, and one goal to enable the association work successfully.
MASTER KEY: DON'T ALLOW DIFFERENCES TO DESTABILIZE GROWTH IN THE RELATIONSHIP.
